I wasn't surprised this restaurant was still open after 14 years of my abscense. We were able to dine in which was nice. Shul took our order and was an excellent waiter. He treated us like family. We oredered a combo B, 1 chicken Teriyaki, 1 Pork Teriyaki, 10 pcs gyoza and extra fried rice. We were surprised to find they gave us another 5 pcs of Gyoza on the house, now that was nice. We all shared to be able to taste a bit of everything. Let me tell you I fell in love again with the Pork Teriyaki. This is done on an actual grill so you have those grill marks and the taste of been cooked over charcoal is present which gives it a delicious flavor. The chicken is as tasty aswell. Im not much of a sweet and sour chicken kind of guy but I was surprised it had a nice balance and was not overly sweet. Lastly the rice is very very good. They stir it with butter therefore the taste is like no other fried rice I've tasted. This is a place you must visit. I would give it more...
Read moreSad, weepy music. Sad, weepy food. Teriyaki beef and chicken combo was very mediocre. The beef was not grilled and was cold and mushy. The chicken teriyaki was alright, but nothing special. It was also cold. Neither of them had enough teriyaki sauce on them, and the extra sauce they give you in a bottle, at the table, does not even taste like teriyaki sauce. It tastes like some kind of watered down beef bullion. The extra salad dressing tastes watered down too. The portions are small for the price and the food is very boring. I left underwhelmed with the food quality, and unsatisfied with the portion size. I will stick with Buck's Teriyaki instead, which is 1000 times better quality and much bigger...
Read moreI agree to most reviews here. Hospitality, cleanliness BUT food? Yes the first visit was great! Here is my real honest opinion..first visit- food - excellent, taste - excellent. 2ns visit i ordered wonton soup. It really looked like it was an instant noodles. The noodles really felt and looked like instant noodles with chopped veggies and mushroom added with three pieces of gyoza. It was a mix of everything. The soup taste really like from the packet of instant noodles. I asked if they made their own noodles the gal responded no. There you go!! Why would they do that? I wasted 13 dollars. I should have cooked "maruchan" ramen at home instead. Im not coming back. Do i recommend this...
