I I made a simple purchase at the McDonald's right off the richwood exit in Kentucky. They did not give me my receipt. It's for a McDouble with only Mac sauce, a small fry, and a large coke. As I get up to the second window, it looked as to be a manager which is absurd. And she hangs me a back and says have a nice day. Then slams the window in my face. So I sit there and wait because I was not given my 1 dollar drink. JUST 1 DOLLAR. So I patiently sit at the window for her to come back thinking maybe she forgot. Only to be victim to her emotions. She opens window and says what I said. You forgot my drink. She didn't tell me you didn't get a drink, move on and shut the wondow. So I wait some more for her to come back and tell me once again that I need to move. And I said ma'am you forgot my drink. And then she recites me the wrong order and then I say what my order actually is which is a double cheese, only Mac, small fry and a large Coke and then she says. Okay calm down calm down and rudely hands me this coke. Shelia I think was he name. I worked in fast food. I get it especially McDonald's is probably the worst. I work at Wendy's for 8 years as a GM but this woman needs a vacation. Should probably deal with the worst fluores people. I'm not riding this for me to get any freebies or for me to get responded to by corporate. I'm only writing this for this woman to get a vacay.
I'm a Google guide. I'm in the top 10 on fast food reviews and as of right now this McDonald's is the only McDonald's I've ever given five stars because every single time I come through here which is once a month because I'm a service technician. I am greeted with the utmost respect and kindness. Which to be honest is really really hard to find anymore, especially in McDonald's and the food is always so great

Read moreZero stars would be more accurate. 1st trip: We went through the drive through. We waited in line with only 2 cars in front of us for 10 minutes. Finally got to the speaker and was told to wait. Sat there another 5 minutes before someone said anything. They were not happy to be taking orders. We ordered. Pulled around. Paid cash. Got change. The girl at the 1st window just told us our total. Never said anything nice and never smiled or looked at us. When she got the cash, she stood there holding it with a blank stare. Almost like she'd never seen cash before. We pulled to 2nd window and got our drinks and was told to pull around to the front of the restaurant. This ticks me off so much. It DOES NOT help ot save time. We then sat there in spot 2 for almost 13 minutes! We finally got our food AND it was NOT fresh - just completely awful. My sandwich bun was black, my meat was chilled and the whole thing was drenched in sauce. Paid for a large fry and the fries weren't even done. They were floppy and some were even cold in the center still!
Months later - more than enough time between visits for a second review: Drive thru again. Definitely didn't wait as long but the guy taking orders was rude and treated us like we were stupid with our order. Wanted a bundle and he rang up a meal. Asked to fix it and he started to argue so I just gave up and accepted. Went to window and got eyes rolled at us. Went to 2nd window and they handed us 1 bag. We pulled forward because I just knew it was gonna be wrong. We ordered our burgers special for our kids and they were both wrong. The fries are once again floppy and not done, and not fresh at all. Didn't get half of my husband's meal. Ordered sauces and didn't get them. Husband ran in to fix what was wrong and they argued with him.

Read moreHonestly, 0 stars would be more appropriate. Frequent mistakes, sometimes missing full meals, poor service. I’ll visit a McDonald’s further away in hopes of better service.
Update 3/26/23: been quite a while, so against my better judgement, and ‘persuasion’ from my wife, I gave it another shot over a year later. Mistake. Another wrong meal, missing a 10 count nugget, poor service on trying to get the meal fixed, a line wrapped around the FRONT of the building (not waiting in drive-thru line, instead waiting for food AFTER going through the line), and other frustrations. I could go on again, but it’s more of the same below, and I won’t break my vow again. If McDonalds is your thing - great - just find a different one.
Update 12/19/21: gave it another chance to see if service had improved. Definitely not. Went in for a moderate sized take-out order, 30 minutes later, no exaggeration 30 minutes, finally got my order. Wrong. Missing two major items (20 piece nugget and large fry) and more wrong (wrong burger, no sauce for 20 count nugget). This McDonald’s continues to be the worst run fast food restaurant of any restaurant I’ve ever visited. The only reason this location stays in business is due to convenience.
Update 12/26: against my better judgement, allowed my wife to convince me to feed her cravings and went back. You know the rest of the story - quarter pounder with cheese missing cheese, sons Big Mac stacked two pieces of bread together, wife’s chicken sandwich with mayo had a tiny squirt of mayo, sandwich not put together, and 1/3 of the bun looking like it had been eaten. F’ing ridiculous.
Needless to say, since my wife was impacted this time, too , agreed...
