There's nothing fancy about the inside of Sammy Sliders, it is as basic as you can get.
The issue that I have is the extras for everything.
If you get 2 sliders and fries it's one price. if you get two sliders, and you get sweet potato fries, it's two dollars more , and if you get a sauce on your sandwich or with your sandwich, it's another upcharge... next thing you know, you're over sixteen dollars... for fast food .
So for 2 small sliders , a basic fountain drink, which they don't have much of, and some sweet potato fries... each meal that we got was almost seventeen dollars... that's a lot for a fast food plate...
For $17, you can go get a drink A burger and fries at applebee's and have table service... in fact my last time at applebee's for 4 people with appetizers with the special that they were running, it was actually ten dollars less then what we just paid at sammy sliders for 4 people to each get two sliders and a fountain drink with sweet potato fries...
The food was okay, but I walked away saying this...
Read moreMy wife and I stopped in for lunch at Sammy’s Sliders in Kernersville, North Carolina, and we were seriously impressed — this place is a hidden gem that knows how to pack huge flavor into small bites!
We tried several things on the menu and loved everything. The Tarheel slider was a standout — a bold, southern bite that hit all the right notes. The Philly cheesesteak slider was absolutely on point, with perfectly seasoned meat, melty cheese, and that classic flavor you crave. And don’t overlook the chicken tenders — crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and clearly made with care.
The fries and sauces deserve a shout-out of their own. Crispy, golden, and bursting with flavor — and the dipping sauces took everything up a notch. You can tell these folks put thought into every detail.
If you’re looking for a fresh, creative, and satisfying lunch spot in Kernersville, Sammy’s Sliders is it. We’ll definitely be back to explore more...

In both cases the burgers were dried out and seemed to have been cooked earlier and then kept warm. I think the meal would be much better if the burgers were cooked to order. Similarly the french fries were dried out and warm instead of hot.
My wife enjoyed her chicken slider. The atmosphere is fine and the service is acceptable. Based on this experience I don't expect to return. There are too many good burger alternatives available (Big Burger Spot, Five Guys,...
