We've been to the Brewer's Kettle quite a few times now. I originally gave the place a 4 based on atmosphere and product availability. I've modified my review to a 3. First let me tell you why we love this place. They have a great selection of craft beers, ales & ciders! They allow you to bring your pooch with you! Lots of outside tables. A stage for some local music. Just incorporated Axe throwing, too! Musical Bingo on Tuesday evenings from 7-9 is so much fun! They do have different food trucks. Lasts nights Lobster one was very pricey. $18/$16 for some lobster on a hotdog bun! But most the time the food is cool! Here is why I gave the place a 3 rating. I'm a Non-Smoker & have terrible Asthma. My husband has COPD & Asthma. Couldn't find one table out of the 20 or so available outside that didn't have a ashtray on it or a table full of smokers nearby. Disappointed to see that even in the covered table section on the way to the inside door is all a smoking area, as well. So you have to pass through that area to get a refill. The establishment needs to do a better job of catering to the non-smokers. I did ask the staff about it last night and they replied there might be a table or two for non smokers but the smokers take them over too. Today I feel like I've been sucking on a tailpipe all night. Last night I smelled like an ashtray myself when I undressed for bed. This saddens me. We really like this place. Hope you guys can at least make the covered the section next to the building a non-smoking section to accommodate all the...
Read moreVisited this place for the first time Sunday night. I just moved to Winston so I’m checking out places nearby. Loved the outdoor area and the great selection. I was actually planning on returning this summer and could see myself hanging out here with friends multiple nights this summer, but this incident has changed my mind. I was not aware until I went to check out and was informed by the bartender that there was a 10 dollar minimum to use a debit card, which is crazy to me. My friend and I were the only two people in the establishment, and the bartender seemed ready to go home, so we decided to leave after one beer. The bartender informed us that we would not get charged 10 dollars due to it being our first time visiting. He said he just wanted to give us a heads up for next time, but this time it was okay. I thought that was very nice of him and appreciated the heads up. I signed and gave him a tip. However, today I noticed on my bank statement that the bar did indeed charge me $10.00, which isn’t what I agreed to pay and isn’t the total that was shown to me when I checked out. I checked with my friend and she too was charged $10.00. I know fussing over 5 bucks may seem ridiculous, but I am getting charged twice the amount that I should be paying. My beer was 4.25 and I left a 20% tip. I will not be returning to this establishment. I hope they’re happy they received a free 10 bucks on our behalf. We would’ve spent more time and money there; however, now we never...
Read moreSo after 15 years of living in Kernersville and trying other local establishments. This is the place! This is the spot! You can drink a large selection of rotating draft selections and buy beer from all over the globe here that is in stock. If you need, they offer everything else from gummies, nicotine pouches, snacks, cigars and more as well! The staff is always friendly, be mindful they are casual as is the place. But you meet people here, connect, socialize and have a good time! Other places in town you never know what you’ll get as far as atmosphere, people, oddities, weirdness and lack of service yet here, consistent good times! Highly recommend and you can also buy some of the unique items in the place too! There are often food trucks to buy food from and a coffee truck for earlier hours as well! Highly recommend this place and you even have trivia night and local music too!...
