Golden Chick — Restaurant in Kerrville

Very Disappointed!!! The worst experience I have ever had from Golden Chick!!! We went through the Drive Thru and ordered your 4 piece tender combo half spicy, half original with honey mustard and gravy with Large fries and medium drink. My wife had a garden salad. So we got home opened the bags and my wife got her garden salad and my meal was missing my Large Fries and my Honey Mustard. They could not even separate the spicy from the regular. I called and spoke to some guy who says he is a manager and I explained what they forgot, and he was very unapologetic and said if we could return and he will replace fries. I told him no, you are replacing the meal and I want it fresh. He said ok just bring the food back to the store. So we live around five miles from the store and had to drive all the way back, pull up to the window and the so called manager that I spoke to just grabs the bag from me and doesn't apologize again. So another cashier comes to the window and calls my order out and I said no you are missing my gravy. We get home, and the food was not fresh at all, almost like they gave us back the same chicken strips we returned. Also there were hardly any fries in the box and they were not fresh either. This restaurant used to be good before the coronavirus, and now seems like everyone is just slacking off and doing whatever since your restaurants are not open for dine in. This will be my last time ever eating there and I am telling all my friends and family never to eat...

Tried GC for the 1st time last night. We went 30 minutes before closing because we were visiting from out of town, we're hungry and most restaurants were closed. We asked if we could still order and they welcomed us in and said not to worry to come in and eat. They had been cleaning so we asked if they wanted us to sit anywhere to avoid getting a clean area dirty. Again they told us we were welcome and to sit anywhere we wanted not to worry. I didn't know what to order and Jaycee(JC?) Worked her magic and made a combo that had several versions (roasted, fried regulat and spicy wings). She was so great! While I was waiting I tried their little egg machine to win a prize. It took my coins and I asked Chris for help. He couldn't get it to work and said if I closed my eyes and picked an egg i could make it work. So I ended up with 2 eggs with mini prizes. I thanked him and told him that was fun. Well when my food comes up he brought me a plush chicken prize and told me I was a winner. Everyone just made my night fun. I enjoyed the chicken and their tea was great. I went back today for tea and everyone for this shift was so nice too. I will return again simply for the customer service. Thanks again Jaycee & Chris @ kerville...

I should’ve known better than to try again with this place! After a year, I thought the people here would actually PAY ATTENTION to the order! they even stapled the receipt showing exactly what I ordered to the bag. I guess they do that so that you don’t look at your order until you get home and realize that they completely ignored your order!

I called to complain and Manager laughed at me. I asked to speak to their manager because I wanted my money back. My food is cold now and I’m frustrated! They told me I could not get my money back through them, since I ordered through the app.

I told them if they remade my meal correctly then we could call it even. I’m currently on my way there to get my food. But I will probably never use the Kerrville Golden Chick again.

This is the third time they’ve screwed up my order in the past three visits and I waited a year between the second and third visit!

They to hire better people who know how to read and do their job correctly or hire better management to make sure that the workers are doing their job!

I don’t know what else to say. It’s a shame because it’s decent food. But you’re not gonna keep customers if you keep messing up their orders and laughing at them when they called...
