Before you plan to dine at Rominas, think twice. We waited for more than 40 minutes, sitting at our table, before a waiter came to take our order. We were told there was only one waiter for the whole restaurant…. Lower cost for the restaurant but prices on the menu had not decreased. When we got the bill, we had the surprise to see the cost of the cork fee, $50 (usually it’s $30 up to $35 in similar restaurants): we asked to talk to the manager who told us, in a rather patronizing, and arrogant way, that it was at the bottom of the menu…. True but in very, very small prints, etc, etc…. Well, very bad experience! We had dined there quite a few times in the past, but this evening will be the last one. My favorite restaurant in Ketchum. Always amazing every time i go. Wine list is extensive for such a small restaurant. I went a few days ago and we got the Rack of Lamb and Fish of the Day(Scallops) with Risotto along with Soup of the day (lamb stew)and Quail for appetizer. The quail was delicious with perfect tomatoes and the stew..... my god the stew. The best stew I have ever had. I could eat the broth alone. Rack of lamb was perfect and the scallops and risottos are amazing. Lastly the tiramisu, best i ever had hands down. Its also a real dining experience, had a 8PM reservation and it was still packed. We were there for about 2 hours and enjoyed every moment. Go, you wont regret it. Make a...
