Subway — Restaurant in Kettering

I stopped in earlier to get a steak sub. I had to wait about 10 minutes because there was only 1 lady working. I think it's actually the wife of the owner and they are probably trying to save on labor cost. after waiting for a while I told her a steak sub while she was heating it up for me she rung me up. Then told her lettuce tomatoes and onions. She then told me she was out of onions. Istead of telling me this before she rung me up she tells me after the fact. So I said add some extra tomatoes on there and then instead of putting them on she wraps up the sandwich. So I guess somehow she went deaf all of the sudden. So I paid big money for a sandwich that barely had anything on it after waiting for a long time in line as well because they wanted to save on labor. And was basically robbed because she should have told me about he onions before ringing me up. So needless to say I am not happy at all about it and not going back for a long...

Went to this location hoping to get the hot honey combo for the Thursday special. The worker notified me that they were out of hot honey so they couldn't make the sub. I asked if I could still get the sub/deal and just leave the hot honey off since it's not available. I was told the employees were prohibited from even ringing it up or they would get in trouble. I thoroughly explained I'm fine with not receiving hot honey. The employee then explained they would have to ring it as a regular pepperoni sub combo which is not on sale 06/19/25 and the total would be 3$ additional than the daily special price. I left the store and won't return to any Subway owned by this franchise owner. I don't blame the employee. I blame the poor training and management. Expecting someone to pay more to not have an ingredient on the sub is...

cons:

They don’t always accept card payments and you don’t realize this until showing up and seeing a sign on their door

Ordered 3 subs online once during operating hours and showed up to locked doors, no one in sight, emailed corporate for a refund never heard back from them. Lost money and nothing ever done about it.

This use to be my favorite subway location nearby but have now shown up to only have to turn around to get cash one too many times, and placing an online order to find them closed was it for me. Sucks cause a lot of the local subways seem to have gone downhill and this one was nice and clean but service doesn’t...
