Amazing! Egusi soup and fufu. Very generous portion and worth the price! Super tasty and pretty damn spicy. You don’t need to be African to try this!I am Indian and it tastes similar to our food but better! 10/10 recommend! (I know you classically use your hands to grab some fufu and scoop the egusi soup but I’m driving and can’t get my hands dirty so I used the spoon they gave me!)

I got the oxtail and jollof rice and it was absolutely amazing! There was a bit of a wait, but it’s totally worth it! The meat was tender and fell right off the bone, and everything was perfectly seasoned. The workers are the sweetest, and the atmosphere overall was great. I’ll definitely stop by again! 🌹❤️‍🩹

We drove over an hour to try this place. No regrets! The people working were super nice and attentive. We got to sample the peanut butter soup and it was sooooo good. This was our first time to try fufu and will definitely be back.

If you're looking for a dining experience that blends the rich, bold flavors of traditional African cuisine with a modern twist, then Amie’s is a must-try! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the energy of the place… a perfect mix of warm hospitality and a vibrant atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The father-and-son duo running the show adds a personal touch to the experience, making it clear that they're passionate about what they do. 🥘

Now, let’s talk about the food. It’s real, authentic African cuisine, but with a twist that gives it a refreshing, contemporary vibe. Imagine the comfort and depth of classic African dishes paired with the savory, umami-packed goodness of hood Chinese flavors. Like that homestyle food you can’t go wrong with! It’s like a culinary love letter that honors tradition while introducing exciting new elements to keep things fresh. Every bite was a perfect balance of rich spices, tender meats, and textures that make your taste buds sing. 🍽️

What struck me the most was how deeply rooted in tradition the food felt, yet it still managed to surprise with inventive takes. It's a rare combo that manages to be both nostalgic and innovative at the same time. Whether you’re a fan of hearty stews or crave something a little more unique, they’ve got you covered. 🍲

As for the service? Exceptional. You can tell that the father and son care deeply about their customers. It's not just a meal…. it's an experience. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which makes you want to come back again and again. 🍱

If you're looking for a place that serves food packed with flavor, heart, and soul, Amie’s is your go-to. 1000000/10, highly recommend it’s the kind of place you’ll be talking about long after you’ve left. DEF will go back to...

I walked the short distance from the greyhound bus station (~.3 miles) for this food and I was NOT disappointed. At all! Went ahead and purchased lunch and dinner for me essentially, I got the ox tail and jollof rice and then I got the egusi and fufu.

The ox tail and jollof rice was super flavorful and hot! The chef made the oxtail made to order and it was super tender. Definitely worth the short wait (30 minutes) even though the chef said 45.

The Egusi and the fufu were great! Very hot and seasoned well. The egusi was balanced perfectly by the fufu. The fufu didn’t tasting like just yeast. This was ready in less than ~20 minutes.

The staff were friendly! Couldn’t have had a better experience. I also really love the orange floor!

Not sure what the other customer was talking about, but this food was hot, well seasoned and...

Amazing Experience with amazing staff! The service was fast and the customer service was very welcoming. My family ordered the Chicken Yassa and the Okra Soup which were both very delicious! We were able to share our food with each other and still have plenty leftover. We shared our food among two adults and 1 child. The Pounded Yam was delicious and very large. You are provided with plenty of food all around. I feel like we payed for a great quality meal. The entire experience was great! The food was prepared quickly and correctly and for that we Thank you. I am not one for spicy foods but the food was so good it was spicy but very delicious! Thank you for making very delicious Authentic African Food. We will be coming back often! Everyone should try Amie's African...
