Another breakfast joint where you need to elbow your way in to be seated... As i am finally up frotn asking for a table of 4, a couple rudly elbows right past me and interrupts to ask if they can sit at the bar - "sure!" the hostest says before answering me... they take 2 of the 4 bar seats - meanwhile, multiple tables of 2 are open, and none for our group of 4. No big deal, hostess says 5-10m. Well, another couple groups of 3-4 walk in and get seated - right in front of us!! so we ask again. "5-10m!" Great. Been waiting 25, finally get sat! As we wait, we see another table sat. And another. And another. Guess what? They are getting coffees and waters and having their order taken! Heres the good part. The server finally asks what we want to drink, and as i say "could we put food in, too?" She replies "i have to take care of these tables first, and I'll be back" i mention we sat before them, and other tables cut us in line. We've been here 30m+. As im saying this, mid sentence, she drops a tray of water quickly at another empty table and reluctantly takes our orders. To boot, my poached eggs came out hard boiled with some sort of smelly chuncky salsa embeded with... parmesan? Idk. Gross. Potatoes tasted like a jar of chili powder. But when you're starving and frustrated, ya gotta eat! 🤣 Tourists be ware: nice guys finish last! Their sign "rude people will be charged $25" is like an excuse for them not to care about their quality of service! You think youre rude for speaking up. But its them for not paying...
Read moreWhile this was my second time as a patron, this time with my whole family, the experience started off on the wrong footing. Whatever the reason, the lady handling the hosting, order taking, and cashing out, did not even bother to come by the entrance where we and a few other parties were waiting for at least 20 minutes. I mind you, there wasn't even a "hello" or "hi there is a 20 minute wait", not to mention, no eye contact or any acknowledgement that we were there. While we waited we observed a whole section of the dinner being completely empty and not utilized. Also as she seemed to continue to take orders from the bar, there was a line of customers building up to check out. Eventually we got seated. We waited at least another 10 minutes before we could even get water or tea. A few minutes later we finally ordered and the food came out in a reasonable time. As far as the food quality goes, there wasn't anything worth bragging about. The cook did his job seemingly composed and with appropriate timelines. The two bus boys who were also handling some tea and beverage order taking and delivery seemed nice and able to probably fulfill other duties. It appeared as if they were seasonal foreign labor and that they somehow did not have permission to do so from someone running the operation. Overall, I think this place has the potential to be a 4-5 star place if the human experience/bottleneck can be resolved. I still recommend this breakfast over hotel fare if you have at least one...

You walk in and think. “Great place, smells like the start of a great ski day.”
Then,we Sit down at the counter. All good.
Menu comes.
Then it starts to rain
No coffee.
I ask an employee if we can order. “Not from me”
So we sit. A coffee pot is 8 ftaway.
3 more minutes.
Order not taken. Finally coffee poured.
Order given. And then the wait.
Waiting. Coffee empty. Employee walk by me and empty coffee cup to fill another customer. He walks back and passes me. So I have the temerity to ask for a refill. Which he gracelessly does.
And then the wait.
But it’s worse. Our orders sit on the counter 10 ft away. No kidding 5 minutes.
Eggs cooled nicely. My son had order granola and yogurt. 1 bowl.
We receive2.
We finish.
My son picks up the check and pays at register in the front.
They ask if him he wants to put a tip on the bill.
I’ll let you put his comment to them in the comments section.
Totally disappointing. Thankfully Killington conditions were great, and the employees at Killington were clearly NOT trained at the Bad...
