Mattina's Ristorante Italiano — Restaurant in Kingman

I just had the anniversary dinner from hell. Cold food or coat the potatoes had gone rancid. And I'm pretty sure they didn't think I would notice. They were from the day before there was hair in my food. They ask me through a couple of servers that were unattentive. Even kind of rude. I still didn't want to care to give them a good tip because it's not always their fault but. When they tried to make it right, they went back on their work immediately after and still ended up. Charging me for what they were supposed to have taken off. My bill that had hair in it to begin with. She says that I was supposed to shared a plate with my husband who shares 4 oz. For lemon really? And that I had somehow ordered 3 stakes. I don't as possible. They got my order wrong twice. Argued with me about it. It came out cold at this point in time, I just. Gave up this is the second time. I tried to give these people a chance. Speed is the first time while the kitchen staff was rude. End cussing and loud and playing rap music. I was determined to get through dinner and have myself a nice escargo. And I thought OK, maybe it's just an. I'll give my shot again. Absolutely. No difference. Don't even waste your time with these people. I give up utterly. What I went through absolutely broke. My heart we just found out we have cancer. It's Could be my last year or 2? This was an important anniversary and the day just kept getting worse. My heart's broken. I know I look different. I know our lifestyles of strange. And I get that I have to deal with people. That aren't always going to like me, but could you all have made one exception for 1 night to be nice? I'm heartbroken. I don't see how this could possibly be made right? Discrimination sucks, but indifference is just as cruel. I'm very sorry to have to leave such a scathing review as it's not who I am. But here I set saddened by my experiences. Add led to big fight and I went to bed in tears. Physically ill And hungry. I don't think I'll leave the house again. Especially not to...

The staff is trying. Over the last two and a half years we've dined here multiple times. Always special occasions or company in town. It was good, but has slowly went hit or miss. The last time was 4 days ago. Reservation made, confirmation text from them sent back, then we get there and no reservation. So we wait. They seat us anyway after we show the confirmation text from them, and 10 minutes later they come by and ask for name etc and find they had it under a different name? Not sure what that was about as we've been there before. Clearly short on staff, but the waitress really did do the best she could, just clearly overwhelmed. Pretty slow service. Second glass of wine didn't get remembered until after check was paid. Then it was oh, do you still want this as it was brought to the table. No thanks as we were leaving, so it was presented and taken away. Did you put it back in the bottle? My first glass was done in the 30 minutes between bread and the meal being served. The Chicken Parm was burned after I suggested it for the 17 year old who'd never had it before. She picked it apart and ate what she could without complaint. The potatoes were just torched. Was this food reheated from the day before? Or longer? I don't know about this place anymore, and I hate that I have to leave a less than positive review. My Mother-in-law and 17 year old niece from Arkansas couldn't stop commenting on the three golfers at a nearby table who spent an hour loudly dropping f-bombs for all to hear. I want to keep liking this place but I'll be taking my business elsewhere while they work out whatever has changed and has them struggling. I thought I'd be taking my visiting family to a nice meal out on their last day in town, instead I just ended up feeling embarrassed...

Reservations for 5 @5pm. Server was extremely scattered. We wanted a relaxing place with history of excellent service and food. *1st red flag we were informed that the fish dish we ordered 30 min. prior wasnt available, 2nd choice not available!!! Appetizers were delicious served promptly, however salad came about the same time after we had asked her to pace out appetizers and salad. So we had a 30 min lag before our main entree. I asked if I could take my glass of vino outside for a smoke and she said "no alcohol" on front porch!!! okay I said, I'll take my water....the server came outside demanded my water glass! Treated myself and 2 others like we were 10 yrs old! Btw we are in our 60s&70s!!! I aked if I could have a cup of coffee in place of water and she replied those cups are glass too. Ohhh brother! So, needless to say we went back to our table and the female manager approached our table with a very curt attitude. Stating no drinks outside and they do not offer paper or styrofoam cups. As I'm listening to her talk down to our group the more disgusted and dissatisfied I became. We have dined at this restaurant several times in the past 3 yrs, as well as our friends and family. Generally exceptional food and service. I dont know what has happen to customer service or just plain common courtesy with regards to the present manager and server but I believe they need to return to their prior employment at a quik stop or somewhere!!! Shame on the owner for hiring disrespectful employees!!! Oh and let me tell you our bill was over $300.00 in addition a 20% tip added which she didnt deserve! (The server however did comp the birthday girls dessert). So...farewell to the last best place to...
