Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Kingsport

We came in on August 14th. Right before lunch. The girl that seated us promptly and the one that brought our food from the kitchen were extremely nice. 5 stars for them. The waitress/bartender gets 0 stars. I would give this lady negative stars if I could. I paid with my credit card and usually give the waitresses a 30% tip at least for good service in the form of cash. I told her I would give her tip in cash. She was fake nice then downright rude. I couldn't get a refill or even answered or acknowledged for 20 minutes when I was trying to get out of there. I would just get a hateful waitress/bartender giving me dirty looks and throwing stuff, giving me I had asked for a to go cup for my son and a refill for myself of diet coke with me being a diabetic and it was supposed to be diet coke. The last time I got a drink with sugar by accident I ended up in the hospital for a week and almost died from aspiration pneumonia and septic shock. Well back to the service. She finally slammed 2 Styrofoam drink cups on my table. The cups were covered in water. Water was slammed all over my table and also the drinks were coming out the top of the lid where she slammed them down. I had to try to find enough napkins to clean this mess she made all over my table because she wasn't going to do it. I tested my drink and it was not diet but a regular coke. My son's strawberry lemonade was strawberry water. Now I know where all the water on my table and Styrofoam cup came from.Not sweet as all. Tasted nothing like his 1st. And only drink. I also got my only refill in one of these cups. A refill that had I drunk it then I could of possibly died. I was extremely nice to this lady. The workers are never rude except this and another time. This the first time since the beginning of Covid before mask when the dining room was almost empty and I had a man wait on me and I was with a guest who had never been to Chili's. I told him I would let him know when we was ready to order. He had 1 other table to wait on with 2 people and his only duty was being a waiter...2 tables. 2 minutes later he came back over and told me he didn't have time to deal with waiting on us to order. He had 5 customers total. I told him we needed more than 2 minutes. So no tip for either one. The employees of this establishment have been nice except for this lady and guy. I always looked forward to going there and tip well. I asked for a to go containers some salt to start with then refill and to go cup later. But I don't think I'll come back. Just because of this employee. Nobody should ever be treated so rudely when they have only recieved the bare minimum of service from their server. If she can't handle this job then please find another occupation. If you are having a bad day don't take it out on your customers. Talk to...

First time going out to eat in a quite a while and was extremely disappointed tonight. Was quickly seated which was great but about 10 minutes goes by before anyone acknowledges that we are there. Our complete order was taken appetizer drinks main course. The table that came in well after us already had their drinks brought to their table before ours was taken. Not long after our order was taken the complementary chips and salsa was brought to our table with no silverware or napkins. About five minutes goes by and then our drinks were brought and they were great. Several more minutes go by and our main course is brought out. I was surprised and said wow we haven’t even gotten our appetizer yet. Without having a chance to further respond they took our main course back to the back and brought our our appetizer. At this point we still have not received silverware or napkins. We try to eat our appetizer which was spinach dip and ended up in a mess and I had to go find someone to get us napkins. After explaining to her that we didn’t have Annie and me holding a puddle of spinach dip in my hand she still did not give me napkins right away. I had to pull a paper towel from her stand that she uses to clean tables with and clean up myself and go back to my table. There we waited and she never came with a napkins. I flag down another person and asked for napkins and he immediately went and found some and brought to us. The main course is brought back out. Edit June 11th This was a different experience for us. We waited on a table around 10 minutes(pretty normal) then we were seated and our drink order taken. Our drinks came about five minutes later. (That’s fine by us) waitress took our order and we ordered an appetizer. Some people came in seated next to us. It took around 30 mins to get a salad 🥗 where were our appetizers? The salad was part of our meal 🥘? Around 40 minutes our appetizer was finally delivered. And it took around 60 minutes for us to get our meal. The manager delivered our meal and apologized( said he gave us a discount)and most of everyone had ate and left that were there same time as us and after us. We tried to be understanding and not rude. But we think they forgot us. He took 4 dollars off our bill …which to us wasn’t enough. Well because also even after all that, we asked for a to go box that took another 10 minutes to get then it took almost a full 20 minutes to get our ticket to pay for our food. We also had to ask for our dessert to go because the waitress had forgot it. All in all we were there around an hour and 45 to eat. What was aggravating was watching everyone eat and leave around us long before we were taken care of. Overall it was a bad experience to wait so long and feel forgotten watching everyone served eating and leaving way before us.
