I'm trying to eat my lunch and someone on the staff, long blonde haired lady and asks if I'm handicapped!!!

First off that's not very nice to ask someone.

Secondly I'm not.

Thirdly I'm trying to eat can't you see that? No excuse me or sorry to interrupt.

Fourth she then tells me I can't park where I parked because it's a handicapped spot. Which it ISN'T!!!

Fifth she tries to argue with me and say it says it on the ground, which it doesn't.

Sixth, she then proceeds to offer me a guilt trip about the person ordering at the counter is handicapped and he usually parks there when coming in for his to-go order. (Which doesn't make any sense as there is a drive through.)

Seventh I apologize to him and state there are no signs and I'll move if he wants. He has no clue what I'm talking about and says I don't care, what is she talking about?

Eighth I come back inside to finish lunch and she walked around my whole car looking for signs or paint on the ground...NOTHING!!

Ninth she then HAS TO come back into the diner and accosted me again with the same rhetoric that I shouldn't park there next time and she have to make sure there is a sign there next time.

Tenth everyone who works there looked st me like I was nuts when I said she's a whack job and how rude she was!

As you can see NO SIGNS, NO painted spot, NOTHING!

So in final. I USED to buy dozens of dogs here to bring to businesses, friends and family who would like their famous chili dogs but as you see above,, USED to is the key. Past tense.

Peace, love and god bless to you all and Ranch Wagon or the other 2 Abes or Ferris' will get my business when I'm in the...

Why is there no option for no stars?! Went to have a quick breakfast with my 2 daughters and from the moment we sat, I knew that it would be a disappointment. The 3 of us had to share 1 menu while the waitress rushed us. We then waited about half hour for what I thought was going to be good food considering the wait time. My western omelet had cheese in it and considering that I am allergic, I called another waitress over who practically begged me to keep it while I kept saying over and over that I did not and would like another minus the cheese. Minutes later, who I assume to be the cook came and nastily slammed the plate down. I took one bite and chose not to finish it concerned she may have spit in it. My daughters hash browns were burnt and greasy. The side of sausage looked old and dry, the potatoes were also hard. The ham in my omelet was deli meat along with what Im sure was canned peppers. All our of toast was soggy. The food was barely edible! A waitress had the nerve to ask if we wanted a togo box and while I politely said no.. What I really wanted to say is lady I wouldn't even feed this to my dog. Absolutely worst breakfast ever!!!! Don't go unless you...

I'm not from the area anymore, my GPS told me to turn before Abes so I go thru parking lot & realized where drive-thru was so I looked nothing was coming so I backed into the drive- thru, a few minutes went by and no one came to the speaker, I called out and the lady very rudely asked me if I backed in, I explained that I missed the turn because of my GPS and she cocked an attitude and told me she wouldn't be serving me if I was "ignorant enough" to back into the drive thru, had a nice $80 order that took to the wilkes barre store since they weren't gonna serve me and thank you for being ableist to the handicap lady who just wanted dinner from abes because it's been years since I was able to have it. Wilkes barre was pleasant though, notified friends and family to drive the extra miles and take their money...

A long overdue update, today I got two classic chili mustard and onion dogs. They come with Abe's signature chili sauce. It's a good tasting chili, not spicy at all but good flavor and taste. I also had their Texas Weiner which comes also with mustard and onions but a different more on the dryer side of chili, not like the signature. There both great tasting. I got a side of fries which came out nice and hot. The employees were very professional, very nice and welcomed me into the establishment. If you guys and gals are in the area stop and get some dogs!

First off, I love the Old Americana look this place has. It's like stepping into the past. The Texas Sauce dogs were pretty good. Nothing impressive, at least the buns were fresh. The hot dog itself was tasty so not bad overall. I think the Texas Sauce was the canned wimpy so it didn't really stand out. The relish dog was not good. The relish itself was too sweet, not my taste. The service was great. Our waitress was kind and patient.
