It was very nice and yummy and the fake grass was comfy they even asked how was your tummy? and the scene was nice and sunny and my husband really funny. We tried their juice it made my feet break loose I even forgot my toddlers shoes so the owner made me choose, his favorite meal's that made me in love head over heels. He also had a surprise which was so nice, a treat that can not be beat this heat, a nice cold ice cream bar that tickled my belly, I even felt I would never melt. The sandwich was rich and creamy and even a little steamy. The bowl was a delight and made me wanna fight since I had no more freight this is my new beat that I walk to down the street even in this extreme heat. Halva for dessert, made my husband squirt and me lose my shirt. The service was kind I didn’t even lose my mind so what did I just find? My new favorite foodtruck that didn’t even suck I wish I had better luck when I stepped infront of that truck and all I wanted was my duck now that’s a...
Read moreThe Tofu Shawarma is the most amazing dish! I’ve had it quite a few times & though I’ve tried the falafel (which is amazing btw) I just keep going back to my true love. Not a fan of the cold French fries that sometimes are hidden in there & it depends on who does the prep if the cucumbers are finely chopped or not. The way that pickle hits every time when you get to the bottom is such a happy surprise. Don’t even get me started on that marinated eggplant!! I know it’s coming eventually but I pretend I don’t know about it. You can tell they’re cooking with LOVE for sure. Going out for food as a vegan is tough out here as a New York native who was used to options at every turn..but I know as long as it’s not on the Sabbath I can get fresh, quality food nearby from the kindest, sweetest people. Shout out to the boss man who even as he’s out running errands will still always pick up that phone and...
Read moreWe are at the Kalahari Lodge in the Poconos Mountains in Pennsylvania. It’s Sukkos, a Jewish holiday basically lasting almost 2 weeks, the middle days are often good for short vacations. The Lodge has provided an area for prayer and a sukkah for outdoor eating. We didn’t know about this food truck until yesterday, when we came to the sukkah to eat lunch. We decided to try the vegan kosher food before we head home tonight. We came at the last minute and I think I got the very last French fry in my felafel sandwich! We had soup, salads, tofu bites and tofu shawarma, I hear the soup is fabulous! They offer dessert such as chocolate smeared pita. They serve different soft drinks and bottled water. The staff was very busy, efficient, speedy and friendly. It’s a...
