So let me just say the one star was the ignorance of today's youth. So today we place.our order as usual and we order our meet balls with sauce on the side.
Well by human error they made it with the sauce. The young lady who bought out our food did exactly what any manager would do. She apologized and said you can keep it while we make you another batch.
Two minutes pass and Shana comes to the table and saids if you decide to eat those I have to charge you. Really!!! What kind of Restaurant decides to come back to the table and say there going to charge you for something that there supposed to throw away
I have been in the restaurant business for over 27 years and never in my life time had anyone come to a table in hopes that you eat what was given to you so they can turn around and charge you for there mistake.
This young lady needs to be coached or dismissed for such arrogance. It's not what she said but how she said it. This new generation is truly a sad situation.
Persons with this type of behavior need not be in position to work with people. No social working skills.
The hiring manager should be evaluated as well. One person can destroy an establishment especially when it comes to this new internet technology where people like to read reviews.
I'm not one to write reviews but truly it was embarrassing especially when we spend hundreds a month at this location. Myself and my husband come here three to four days a week.
I have lunch here with our employees which would have been a different scenarios had she spoke to us in that demeanor in front of our employees. Also to make it clear we are in our late forties and early fifties.
We are think skinned adults and do not get...
Read moreI haven't eaten at a Noodles World Kitchen in a long time as everything they make starts with soy which I have a mild allergy too. That being said my oldest child and their partner really love this place and it was their day out shopping and so their partner could stop for an eye exam at LensCrafters. At the end of a long day this is where they wanted to dine and I figured it was worth it because it has been a while since I had tried their food. I was amazed at how much things have changed since the last time I ate in one of their locations. I still remember when so much of what they carried involved elbow noodles or mac and cheese of some sort. It was good back then and with all the new items they have I think they are much better now. There are so many choices now but I chose the grilled orange chicken lo mein. I generally like spicy but this just sounded interesting. One mine arrived The first thing I noticed was that it was visually quite appealing. I could see the noodles along with some chopped green onion and a good amount of grilled chicken along with a sprig of cilantro. I broke up the cilantro and scattered it across as I do enjoy the flavor. Once I dug in I found the pea pods and more spread around in the noodles. This dish had excellent flavor without being spicy at all. I really enjoyed the blend of flavors and would definitely order it again. At this point I really want to go back more often and try more of their new items as so many of them sound quite tasty. Even while I was not eating at Noodles I could still recommend them as the food was always quite good. If you are looking for a really good quick meal this would be a great...
Read moreI used to like Noodles and Company, but then I had a son. You can really tell the difference between a good restaurant and a bad one based on how the staff handle customer issues on-site, which this is no different.
My son is a picky eater, not going to lie. He has certain staples that he enjoys though. One of those is typically macaroni and cheese. So I ordered him the Mac and Cheese with apple sauce, a Rice Krispies treat, and chocolate milk. He did not like the macaroni and cheese, and after tasting a bit for myself, I can't fault him. The cheese was far to runny and was not coating the pasta. My son ended up eating the apple sauce and Rice Krispies treat, but ignored the chocolate milk.
Toward the end of dining, an employee stopped by the table and asked how there meal was and I expressed my concerns with the Mac and Cheese. He apologized and cleared a plate that I had finished. He didn't do anything wrong, but he didn't do anything right either. He didn't say it, but he basically offered two options: let my son leave hungry because the food was bad or pay for a second meal.
Having an 18-month son is complicated, but I having been in other restaurants (of similar target market) where they will apologize and offer something else gives a certain level of guest satisfaction that unfortunately Noodle and Company cannot live up. Management should work to empower team members to be service heroes instead of just letting comments fall by...
