We are very excited find this Perkins location because we love Perkins when we lived in Minnesota. But, we have very bad experience there on April 16th around 8:30. My husband is stroke survivor and walk difficultly with a cane. We were waiting at the front for a while and no body serve us and I saw a man was working on a desk for a while. I thought he probobly did not saw they have customers. So I came to him asked if there is anyone serve at the front. He said:"No. We don't have anyone serving at the front. We only have two person work here. You have to wait!" I came back standing there to continue to wait. Eventually, he came with a serious face and lead us to a booth. I asked him if it was possible to sit an empty table with wider space. He said:"No! you have to sit here. No one serve there." My husband tried to squeeze in that booth, but he can't. So, I caught the man who is leaving us, "Excuse me! my husband is paralyzed. The space is too tight to let him squeeze in." He come back with reluctant attitude and lead us to a table. And saying " Is that okay??? Do I need to pull chair for you?!" My husband is respond:" it is okay, thank you."
When I sit there, I found myself very upset. we are here for a vacation. Why we mistreated with a bad mood person like this? I do have a choice, right? My husband asked me to ignore it but I just can't. I told my husband I don't what to eat here. So we left without eat there. This is the first time in our life we come to a restaurant and left even without look at the menu.
Is something wrong with myself?...
Read moreI really hope this gets to the waitress young pretty lady from East Slav region (sorry not sure if Ukrainian, Russian, or Polish) maybe the name was Kristine. The reason you were left a $5 tip (you mentioned it to the gentleman coworker in the front while we were walking out the door) well it was because from the moment you came to our table you were giving my family that “rushed drive thru service”. My step dad was asking you a question about a menu item, your whole demeanor was that of “yeah, yeah” “just order and let me move on”! I even wanted to order a juice half way through our breakfast and when you came by our table you asked “how’s everything” but you DID NOT STOP you kept walking, “drive thru service” 😫. At the time to pay you left us the pay card machine and you said “I’ll take all the dishes now”, and your hands were full so you asked my mom to pile the plates on top of the other plates for you, rude!!! Perkins was not full! Yesterday, at Firstwatch had 3x’s more people then today at Perkins and we were not rushed even with all the ppl waiting. The lady that sat us down as soon as we got to Perkins this morning was more likable in the few seconds; she said hi, she made eye contact, she smiled and she was in that moment with us. Just because you said Happy Mother’s Day to us about 12 x’s it’s not going to make you more likable. I hope you take away something from this…don’t give drive thru service, give nice in the moment service. And that’s why you got $5...
Read moreWe arrived here around 10:00AM on a Sunday to find quite a crowd of customers walking in. We put our name on a wait list and must have waited nearly 20 minutes before being sat. Our server greeted us quickly, however and brought us our drinks and took our order. I ordered a skillet and my husband got an eggs benedict. We watched two other tables (large parties) sit after us and get their food before us. Regardless, we were patient. When the food came out, mine looked as if it was sitting in the window for a LONG time. The food wasn't even hot anymore, just warm and the cheese had melted into the gravy. My husbands was missing the avocado and had the wrong bacon option on it. We started eating in hopes our server would return. After about 10 minutes, we stopped the host and told her we were out of drink and his order was wrong. She got the server who rudely stated "we are out of avocado". Excuse me?! She couldn't mention that prior to ordering, during the order, or after the order was keyed in and she was told by the cook it was out? She waited until the food was delivered, didn't say anything and walked away. Not to mention, our drinks were never refilled until we finished eating. We have always had such great experiences at other Perkins restaurants, but this was horrible. We have never not tipped our server, but we did here. She did not deserve a penny for the attitude we caught after her mistake. I highly suggest removing her from the team as she will continue to upset...
