Seafood House-Kissimmee — Restaurant in Kissimmee

To start, we had a party of 19 that showed up to a nearly empty restaurant at 5:15pm on a Monday. We were a tad nervous with the lack of traffic in the restaurant. We were 1000% wrong. Hecter was our server and was better than we ever anticipated. A large group like that is hard to deal with. Food was absolutely spectacular. Everything was just as ordered and perfectly seasoned. We ordered raw and bbq oysters. Family loved the raw (personally, I like mine cooked). The Bbq oysters were some of the best I’ve eaten. Highly recommend. A family member got the calamari. It was perfect. Very tender and sweet. As a meal, I got the shrimp boil house seasoning fire. If you like spice, I would definitely recommend. If you aren’t into spice, I’d recommend medium (I would shy away from anything less than medium for fear of it not being enough seasoning). The corn and potato’s that accompanied the shrimp were perfectly cooked. Another family member had the scallops. Absolutely melt in your mouth. So tasty and sweet. Another family member (from Louisiana) ordered the crawfish and said they were as good as she got at home. Huge compliment on the crawfish. She isn’t a spice lover and ordered the house medium. Claimed they were perfect. Two more got the shrimp and crab leg meal. They raved about the shrimp, but weren’t overly impressed with the crab. Good meat, just kinda bland. Two other ordered the fried shrimp dinners. High praise for the perfectly prepared shrimp and delicious hush puppies (with honey for dipping). This place was super good! Vernon took care of us and was super kind and gave us a very good first time menu presentation and answered all of our questions about the food. They have these cool little robots that take you your food and lead you to your table. For seafood I felt the food was really well priced. We ate a "family combo special" type thing and it was about $63 and it fed 3 adults comfortably. So if you break it down that's a little over $20 each with 3 grown adults leaving the restaurant feeling FULL (and it's seafood) - in my opinion it's super worth it. They also have individual sized portions of seafood on their menu as well for about $20-$25 - those are also big portions. The food tasted incredible!! Seasoned to perfection and everything was nice and tender and not overcooked. They are flexible too and let you make substitutions if you don't care for a certain item (we substituted the mussels for more shrimp). We also were surprised how fast our table of 5 got our food. It was probably all out within 15-20 minutes after we ordered.

The decor was really fun and it was a super nice clean place to eat with family - the other places we were looking to eat did not have as spacious seating or look as cool inside so we went here and we are glad we did! We're only visiting Kissimmee, but next vacation we are here we will...

For my second visit, is say the food was much better than the first time. Order a pound of snow crab and a pound of shrimp heads on combo which comes with potatoes and corn in the boil bag. Tried the medium with all the sauces mixed medium heat and it was much better this time. The hush puppies Were very good again. The order was placed over the phone, and unfortunately when I arrived for pickup of the to go dinner order, they seemed to have forgotten I was coming. The host checked and could not find my order in the system and could not determine why. Ultimately, they placed my order again and I paid and waited a little under 10 min and they were able to get it ready.

Unfortunately would say 3.5/5 for the order hiccup. Otherwise, all was great.

Ordered for the first time online to go. The food we ordered was all accounted for, and on time for the eta of completion. The service was fine, friendly enough.

We ordered the pound of crab, pound of shrimp seafood boil combo, medium with all the sauces mixed. It was pretty good, I think quality wise, one of the better ones out there as far as the shrimp and crab, but the sauce flavor was not the best.
