Tasty Lemon - Açaí Bowls and Bistro — Restaurant in Kissimmee

When I first went to this place, I thought it was great. They make a great açaí bowl. However, after going repeatedly, I realized that their practices regarding charging are questionable. Even if you remove some of the toppings, they charge you for other toppings even if you ask to substitute. For example, my partner doesn’t want ANY fruit on his, but wants to add chocolate chips. They charge for the chocolate chips. Additionally, I have been a few times where they didn’t have some of their normal toppings and they will substitute other toppings then. All this is annoying, but I would probably still go. The last straw was the last time I went, someone in my party ordered a regular size smoothie, something that is on the menu. They said they didn’t have any regular cups so I would have to order a large size smoothie instead. I let them know I didn’t want a large size, please charge me for the regular size, give me the regular size amount and they can simply put it in a large cup. They unapologetically refused. A place that is going to be that strict on substitutions has to be PERFECT. They are FAR from it. And NEVER should they force customers ti pay for a larger size when they don’t have a smaller size container. Really good Açaí bowls and wraps. I love Acai and i would say this place has the best Açaí in Kissimmee. I tried the Avocado Grilled chicken wrap, my goodness that was delicious. I have it 4 stars bc the cashier, Amanda, was kinda rude. She started off nice I liked her red hair, and then I asked her for an empty bowl to split the açaí bowl with my dad and she gave me a cup but when I asked for a bowl she refused and said that’s the only one kinda rude. Then I realized that nutella was missing in our bowl after i had ordered it, and she repeated it back to me. So i went to go get the nutella and she made it seem it was my fault and closed her eyes and shook her head saying i didn’t pay for it. Found this place on a google search for açaí bowls. It’s a 45 minute drive for me on a good day but it is worth every mile!!! I have a go to place about the same distance to me but this has won my vote and business for my Açaí Bowls. I always will bring one home when I go for now on. The prices are on point for what you get. I would have never thought coconut oil on sherbet would be good but it’s amazing!! Great service and friendly staff every time.
