Hellhello everyone most people forget about welcome centers or the brochures that are involved with the wonderful thing about the welcome centers is that you learn a little bit more history about that area and where you can go in the hot spots and what's happening around town if you're into the beach scene or just restaurants or museums or just antique shops or things like that I suggest that the welcome centers shouldn't be your first stop tell the Osceola welcome center was very enlightening and reference to the old houses and the the family to move there and started Kissimmee Orlando Osceola all the surrounding suburbs of the city and it was really enlightening because I wasn't one of those people but now with my one friend she is enlighten me to a forgotten place of interest in history and things to go see and more things that oh yeah I like shell collecting we can go to this beach and we can collect so many different shells even though we're on the Atlantic ocean but it's a great experience and you learn some other things that you didn't know exist there and it's a great idea so don't forget about your welcome centers anywhere in every city they're all there and especially if you need your emergency locations and door you know maybe you want to go to the thrift store may you want to go to an antique store they're awesome so check it out...
Read moreJust had a fantastic family outing at the Osceola County Welcome Center and History Museum. Firstly, the outdoor walking trails are a treat. There are two distinct paths, both easy to maneuver, thanks to their concrete and deck-like surfaces. These well-maintained trails offer a serene stroll through nature, making it enjoyable for both young kids and adults alike.
Inside, the museum was an unexpected delight. Immediately noticeable was its cleanliness, a detail that certainly extends to their restrooms as well. After enjoying the outdoors, the museum's air conditioning provided a welcomed cool down. The place is tastefully decorated, featuring a plethora of taxidermy-style fake animals set within full diorama room-size settings – it felt like stepping into various slices of Florida's rich past.
Beyond the aesthetics, the museum does an excellent job of presenting pieces of significant historical importance. It offers a comprehensive look into the region's heritage, from early settler stories to natural history. The visitor's center is much more than what you think, it's a small museum, that is high quality and provides great insight about the history of the area - Kissimmee . The museum director greets everyone who walks in the museum, is very friendly who provided us with much information.
