I’m SUPER Disappointed and Dissatisfied with the my meal from this location. I have eaten from here on many occasions it honestly become one of my favorite in Knightdale especially during the pandemic, however I recently moved to Zebulon but I still shop a lot in Knightdale. So I decided to stop by and get a salad and a wing meal. I get back home in Zebulon which is about 22 minutes away and I find A HAIR ON MY FOOD my egg to be exact. So I called and asked to talk with a manager… so the 1st young lady was like I can help I’m a team lead which I didn’t think she could but I inform her of what my issue was. Once I told her what happened she then transferred the call to the manager. I felt like she should’ve done that in the first place but whatever I chucked it up to it being the steps she had to follow. Then the Manager began to talk with me and once she understood it was a complaint she acted as if it was NOTHING, like is was no big deal, and proceeded to say mistakes happen as if I don’t know that mistakes happen, but I’m Not the only complaint with hair being in their food and in the Salad to be exact. She hardly allowed me to speak as the customer to share my concerns Which I thought was very Rude, I had to ask her to let me talk because I do understand that mistakes happen but had she been a little nicer and professional about the matter I would’ve been willing to give this location another try. However I do have a question is there no one doing a final check on food before it’s sent out. I know it’s fast food but Quality is everything for me as the consumer. I was not happy about having to drive back to Zaxby’s with gas being high and for her to have a don’t care attitude made it worse. I don’t think she needs to be a Manager or she needs more training. I can’t quite remember her name, but it’s whoever you all had scheduled as manager for 1st shift on 05/16/2022 at 11:48 am ……. Read moreThe cashier (Emily) had her back turned away from me when I approached the counter. I waited momentarily for her to turn around. She simply stood there silently staring me in turning around. She did not greet me by welcoming me to Zaxby's nor did she inquire how she could be of service in taking my order. I greeted her nonetheless in saying, "Hey how are you doing today?" She remained unresponsive despite my genuine inquiry. I considered just walking out and saving my money but I was extremely hungry and short on time. Consequently I simply ignored the nonsense placed my order. I stepped over to the waiting area immediately there-following.
A Caucasian gentlemen walked in and approached the counter as I waited. I was baffled to say the least because she immediately smiled and welcomed him to Zaxby's without hesitation. That in itself was damning to me given that I am a minority. To make matters worse, she did not thank me for my order nor invite me to come again in handing me my food. I was so disgusted in leaving the establishment that I literally tossed my food in the trash receptacle upon exiting. I did so because I did not feel welcome in their establishment. Given that premise, I did not feel comfortable eating anything prepared by Emily in the least bit.
I do not have enough information to definitively state that Emily is racist. I can however hypothesize that she is based off of this afternoons experience. Read moreSo my wife decided to stop in at this location...which is 15 minutes from our home. We were tired and didn't feel like cooking, so decided to eat out.
The experience was awful. We ordered 3 Signature Club sandwiches. All 3 of them were missing bacon & cheese.However, we were charged for the Sandwich, we got something else.
To add when we got home, there was something black floating in one of our drinks. And the other two drinks were brownish in color. We ordered all Sprites.
The young lady who took the order was very sweet and welcoming. However, while she was taking our order, her tablet froze. She had to go back in the restaurant to fix it. Meanwhile, the other dude taking orders continued to take the orders of the people behind us. Therefore, all the cars behind us got their food before we did.
The Manager Briana gave us two options: Drive back to Knightdale (15 minutes away) and return the food for a refund. Or she will take 50% off our NEXT order, but it has to be within 7 days. Driving back defeat the whole purpose of us doing take-out and not cooking in the first place. It was time and energy that we were trying to avoid. And the second option rushes us to redeem 50% discount within 7 days. What if we can't make it back in 7 days? What if we don't want Zaxbys within the next 7 days? It would have been better if she just would have offered to reimburse us for the difference in cost we paid for a Sandwich we didn't receive, during our next visit. And for the drinks.
