I absolutely despise this particular chick fil a. We were in the area tonight and my daughter wanted chick fil a. I told my husband when we pulled in “I hate this chick fil a”. The past 4-5 times I’ve been there has always been an issue or problem. But tonight was the final straw. I pulled in behind a car and as the car in front of me was ordering, I ordered with a girl also. Finished ordering and waited for the car in front of me to pull up. Meanwhile some cars in the line to the right were ordering and going through. About 3 cars rolled through after I ordered and I backed up to get in that lane so I could just drive through further up the line to get my order. But more cars came before I could do so. So about three more cars who were there after I ordered, ordered and pulled up. Meanwhile the car in front of me was still ordering.
I backed up a little and got into the other lane behind a car who was finishing up an order. The girl in that lane told me I needed to get back into the other lane. Before I could tell her that was NOT going to happen, the girl on her speaker said something and she told me “never mind”. My whole intent was just to go ahead and get to the window and get my food since I had already ordered and not let 6 more people get in front of me. When I got to the point to pay cash where the two lanes merge into one, the girl taking my cash payment had all the wrong tone. She said, “In the future don’t EVER change lanes again. It messes up the inside”. So this hit me all the wrong way. Her tone was annoyed. So I said something to the effect of “so me ordering and 6-7 people ordering after me and getting to the window to get their food doesn’t mess up the inside? And how can it mess up the inside when the lanes merge into one? It’s not like I’m in the wrong lane and they are confused. They should be confused about where the crap I am since I ordered before all these other people and I’m still waiting behind this car that’s taking forever.”
I wasn’t even upset at the chick fil an employee taking the order in front of me. I thought it was the customer not knowing what they want or having a big order. Then she said “it’s his second day”. And I said “ that’s fine but i wasn’t even upset at him, I thought it was the customer. But obviously, if it’s his second day he obviously needs help if it’s taking 10 minutes for him to take an order. Y’all should be helping him”. And I’m not throwing off on him because everyone has to learn but maybe the drive thru is not the place for a new employee. They should work inside and learn the system, and then do the drive thru.
So what should have been a simple change lane to get by this car that was taking forever, this girl makes a huge deal out of NOTHING. Like the inside employees wouldn’t have a clue what to do when I got to the window. I just was going to single handedly confuse the inside employees by getting into the other lane to go ahead and pay. Guess what? As I paid, the other car I was originally behind was STILL there and guess what happened when I got to the window? The employees were so confused, they had my food and drink ready in hand to give to me. They even knew my name. Sounds like I really messed...
Read moreWas not the best visit. Although I was only 4th person in line, it took so long to get to the speaker to even place the order that I was convinced either they were in process of being robbed in there or they were in back actually killing the chickens themselves. Every veh at the speaker was a long stay. I get up there and no one comes on to take the order for at least 30+ seconds. I realized that was the issue. I asked for extra well done because I like the chicken crispy and when we get to the window, there is a manager but perhaps he was tired at 9 pm because he was not with it. 4 young employees standing there gabbing to explain to one person how the screen up on wall worked, with a manager standing there with his back to them. This is not how ChickfilA runs. It took a long time for the food to he handed out the window even though manager was standing there doing nothing to move it on and then had to wait for my two drinks. I had ordered three chicken sandwiches, one 12 count nugget and two med lemonades - not a big order and as long as it took just to get to the window, they could have cooked 10 sandwiches to a charity BUT what did we get, regular NOT crisp chicken sandwiches HOWEVER all three sandwiches had stickers on them that labeled them extra well done. One of the sandwiches had no meat at all over a third of the sandwich as if only the size of two very flat chicken strips. I k ow what the did, they picked out the ones that appeared to be most crispy out of what they had cooked. I can slap a label on a hamburger and say it's chicken and nobody will know except the kitchen and the buyer. If you had in the kitchen the help you had at the window with the manager standing there at the window - well what on Earth was truly going on in the kitchen?? Again, I realize this is not the norm for ChickfilA's as a whole. Just very disappointed to have paid that kind of money and got cheated on quality of all the sandwiches and poor chosen quantity on one of the sandwiches. The nuggets and...
Read moreThis location has forgotten to put items inside of my bag more than once. I usually do not make a big deal about this, but today I bought two 5 piece kids meal. I realized the tenders were not in the bag when I was 7 min away, so of course I turn around an advised the young lady from the drive thru that my kids meal had no chicken an I’m unable to go back thru this long line or go inside because I’m not dressed to go in this is why I went thru the drive thru initially, can someone please bring the items that are missing . They asked for receipts, I started looking in /on the bags no receipt, they became condescending a questioning how the nuggets could be missing. I became annoyed for one I just drove back to get food that should have been inside my kids bag, two the response should be “ I’m sorry for this an the inconvenience and for three don’t insult me by wasting my time insinuating that I drove all the way back with my two children in this car to get some free nuggets. I requested a supervisor if cameras need to be reviewed please do so cause nuggets were never placed Inside my bag and now I’m being hassled about it when you all were wrong. The manager apologized but than proceeded to say one of the guys has autism . If this is an attempt to avoid lack of accountability this was a failed one and another insult . I have loved ones that’s autistic an this has nothing to do with chic fila leaving my children nuggets out of the bag and not resolving it as soon as I came back to notify them of this, so it came across as chicfila again not being accountable for their mess up and excusing or pushing it off on the person that’s autistic because mentioning this was totally unnecessary. I did not like it or appreciate...
