This has to be the worst IHOP, that I have been to. Hot Coffee was iced cold and stale. There was nothing fresh at all about my coffee. My sausage was brought me uncooked. Ask my server for some well cooked sausage. I then received back deep fried sausage. Which should have be cooked on the grill as per request, well done. My deep fried sausage was not only now over cooked, but greasy and tough. I was served ice cold coffee. My over medium easy eggs, as per my request, was served to me over easy, close to raw eggs. My French toast was 2 slices of bread with powdered sugar, minus the egg batter. However, I can't complain about the service. My waiting time to receive my uncool meal was under 10 minutes. Which was quite understandable, due to the fact that my entire meal was uncooked. Very disappointed in IHOP. For, I have been to just about every IHOP, between the East & West coast, and this IHOP experience has to be the worst service o have ever received. I thought The Waffle House was the worst and avoid at all cost. This IHOP is now in the same category as The Waffle House. And to male matters worst. It was an embarrassing experience for this was a business breakfast, as of most of my business breakfast's. I informed my potential new client that IHOP has the best breakfast. Now, not only do I have 2 plates of uncooked/raw food, I have an dissatisfied potential client. Not a good or professional look. Especially, when my business is mainly Branding & Marketing. Therefore, I highly suggest that anyone would be better off cooking & serving their breakfast from home or selecting the closes diner or Golden Corral (at least you know the buffet food is fully cook or you can special order your meal fresh, fully cook and a hot pot of fresh coffee) #SaveYourMoney - #SaveYourTime and definitely never go here for a...
Read moreSo I'm the one to complain about restaurants and actually this is my first one ever. But when you have terrible service at you restaurant, you gotta warn somebody. So I was in a mood for a nice juicy burger. So I went to this particular ihop in knightdale. And placed my order for me and my girlfriend. She wanted a burger with only cheese mayo lettuce ketchup and mustard and pickles. I just wanted mayo cheese and bacon. Simple right? But we also wanted Mots sticks as app. So usually the app come first then your meal? Not here. So finally our meals is brought out and we had to send it back cuss they had tomatoes on it. And I'm sorry but if I'm paying for a service then I should be able to get what I want. So second time it's come out, my girlfriend burger no mayo ketchup and no pickles. So they brought out a cup of pickles and a knife scrape of mayo. No that's her plate. My second plate comes out with the burger with their special Ihop sauce. Again I had asked only bacon cheese mayo. Not hard. I work at a restaurant myself. So I send it back then my 3rd plate comes to me it had no bacon. What makes it worse is the waitress said it was the manager in the back making the food. By that time the mots stick came but there was only 4. I looked at the menus that clearly said it comes with 6. So i said im really not trying to rude but we are missin 2. So they brought me out a single 2. But that time, I was frustrated and I'm like sorry but I need to speak to a manager about this. So manager came and I said bruh this is not acceptable. Not only did he not apologize but he just looked and said that I can just leave. So we packed out food to go and left...I get having a bad day but having this bad dude. I appreciate the food. But I will never be going back to this restaurant. I recommend you...
Read moreMy friend and I came to IHOP on a Thursday morning and were seated around 9:15. She was going through a tough time and so we were having a pretty serious conversation. Our food was good and came out quickly but after we finished eating we continued to talk. Our server, Jessica, came over every 10 minutes to ask if we needed anything even though we kept saying we were fine. Then, around 10:30, random servers started to stop by asking if we needed anything. We kind of laughed it off and joked that maybe they wanted us to leave. From 10:40 to 10:43 we had six different servers stop to ask if we needed anything. The last guy even admitted to us that our server, Jessica, had asked him to come ask us that and he figured maybe it was a joke. By this time, I felt humiliated and harassed. I recognize that they want to turn tables quickly to make a profit, but I was a paying customer who was trying to have a conversation with my friend. As we left, another server yelled back to the kitchen "they're leaving!". I just got off the phone with the manager, Frank, who was very apologetic. All this to say, good food...but if you are looking to have more than 1 hour conversation...pick a different...
