This Krispy Kreme almost always has the red light on to let people know that they've got hot, fresh cooked doughnuts for sale at that time, and all of us doughnut lovers know that there's nothing any better than a hot fresh cooked doughnut because they just sort of melt right in your mouth!! In fact, in my humble opinion there is only one doughnut shop here in North Carolina that's better than the Krispy Kreme doughnut shop in Knightdale, and that is Britt's Doughnut shop and that's on the boardwalk at Carolina Beach!! They serve the best Doughnut's that I've ever had in my 64 years of being here on God's green earth, no if's and's or but's about it!!!!!!! They, hands down have the best doughnut's on the planet and they've been in business in the very same spot in which they opened in during the summer of 1939 and for 85 years now they've been the number #1 doughnut shop in North Carolina since ĵthey opened up in 1939!!!!!!! So if you're ever in Carolina Beach, NC during the summer and if you're a doughnut lover like I am IT WILL BE WELL WORTH THE TIME IT TAKES YOU TO STOP BY and GRAB YOU A DOZEN OR TWO of Britt's doughnuts!! Ordered a lemonade chiller, i called it a frozen lemonade because it kind of is but I’ll take blame on that but the woman i spoke with proceeded to laugh for a good 10-15 seconds because she found it hilarious. Afterwards i said my bad i meant chiller, I’ll get lemonade chiller. Her:”but the lemonade isn’t frozen.” Me:”Yes i know that’s fine. Random guy:”We are out of lemonade”.
2.) Can i get half a dozen, 3 glazed and 3 raspberry filled. I pull forward and pay. Guy says you ordered 2 glazed and 2 raspberry filled right? I said no, i said half a dozen and repeated the quantity of the flavor. He walks away with the box and comes back, i drive off and check box and still has 4 total. Someone clearly didn’t pay attention when learning BASIC math.
3.) After worrying if they did something to my coffee i pour it out and not even surprised by the contents of my coffee. Chock full of coffee grounds.
The 2 who were working during this moment were absolutely immature and did not care about their work. The owner or manager seriously must not know but judging by the reviews prior to mine i believe the owner doesn’t actually care either and probably encourages this behavior.
Will not be back here and cannot recommend this place to anyone. Get better workers or make sure they’re not goofing off while on the clock. Such a shame people get paid to work and are this bad...
Read morePOOR PLANNING! we were just in there for the buy one get one for .80 deal and I felt so bad for the three people that were scheduled to work this morning! They were set up to fail with not enough help on a busy morning! Brenne was an absolute rock star she held it together evendors though she was getting absolutely slammed and all she wanted was a drunk of water and couldn't even do that because she was trying to help everyone! I apologize I didn't catch the other two gentlemen by name that were there with her but they were working their hardest to make sure things got done and customers were taken care of. Only to find out that the manager was on vacation and that is why they were short staffed! That is absolutely horrible! I work retail and there are days rhat are blacked out for taking vacations and this should have been one of those days! It is not fair to those three people that were working today to have to have set up like that! I wish I could get a hold of the owner of this location because they would seriously get an earfull from me! This was seriously a reflection of the poor management at this location! I hope the next time there is a big promotion like this that they do better not only for the customers but also for the staff!
