long review
The food was EXCELLENT!!!!! It tasted like Kanki and I loved that cause I can get Kanki tasting food without the high price. First time coming here. Will be back again.
Update: After coming there faithfully every week since my last review I had to change my opinion about them. Vinny/Benny whatever the owner name is, is all about money and not customer service. Now I would expect that from an employee but NOT the owner. I came there and order my usually this time I asked for jumbo shrimp and behold there wasn't any so I got my regular order Hibachi Shrimp with lite sauteed onions. Get to work and when I went on my break to eat, the food looked good. Put the white sauce on and started stirring took my first bite and I get a mouthful of onions. To my surprise when I started picking the onions out it looked like someone put a while onion in my food. I'm mildly allergic to raw onions so if they're not cooked (sauteed) all the way through I cannot eat them....I couldn't eat them. I called them that night to let them know what had happen and get told the manager isn't there and won't be there until 8:50 called back at 8:50 smno answer. This was on a Wednesday I called the rest of the week into the weekend and into the following week still no answer...until Wednesday. So for a WHOLE WEEK, you're telling me the phone was busy and or off the hooked...SMH!!!! FINALLY talking to someone i told him what happened in depth and he left a note for the owner to call me and told me to come back and tell them who I talked to and I'll get my plate remade. Did that, apparently no one saw the note that was left the cashier called the owner and he told her he knew about the note and that he was on his way, he gets there and acts like he didn't know anything. Then when I told him who I talked to and that a note was left he remembered. His response was "Okay, so what do you want me to do and I told him again what I was told...he said "okay order and I'll get you another plate. He tells the cashier that whatever I order ring me up and charge me. She was confused about the whole situation. Then the owner tells me that nothing was wrong with the shrimp so he'll just give me a side of veggies free, when he said that, that let me know that he was all about money. I don't have a problem paying for my food but if I showed you the pictures and you don't see a problem and the only solution you came up with is free veggies instead of remaking my food for free because I couldn't eat it, let's me know the mentality of the owner. still I haven't been back and probably won't be until a new owner. I know that my one review and me not coming back wouldn't affect his place to much but I've told so many ppl about it and will be taking my good review and...

I think it’s time for me to call it quits with this establishment. I decided to get dinner for my kids and I after not having been here for over a year. I hadn’t been because I kept forgetting it existed. My latest experience makes me wish I had forgotten it.
I ordered our meals using DoorDash. I ordered two chicken rice bowls and a chicken/steak rice bowl. This was confirmed via the receipt I received from DoorDash. When the food arrived, the chicken rice bowls were correct, but my chicken/steak rice bowl included all of the vegetables. I wanted to have the food replaced and called Hibachi K.
Unfortunately, the manager was unwilling to resolve the issue. I explained what I ordered. The manager stated that they did not receive the order as containing a chicken/steak rice bowl. The order was received as being the regular entree with the vegetables. The manager proceeded to say, “You’ll need to talk to DoorDash. We just cook the food.” I explained that I could drive over and show the receipt with what I ordered. The manager continued to say I would need to contact DoorDash. I understood where he was coming from, but didn’t think this was the best way to treat customers. We went back and forth, but the manager continued to say that I need to contact DoorDash. I did contact DoorDash who couldn’t understand why the restaurant received the incorrect order.
Though I was refunded the money from DoorDash, I was still left without a meal to eat. I was also left frustrated that the manager does not seem to know how to treat...
Read moreI have frequented this restaurant several times and have been satisfied. However, my most recent experience has left a horrible taste in my mouth. I was feeding a large dinner party over the holidays and thought this establishment would be great for dinner. To my surprise I was really disappointed with the quality of food that was served to me. The chicken was very dry. I asked for extra vegetables and less rice and I didn't receive either.
I contacted the restaurant and asked to speak with the supervisor(Vinny) the very next day. I didn't hear back from Vinny until 5 days later. That was after I called the restaurant multiple times requesting to speak to him. His customer service was HORRIBLE! It was clear that he does make sure that customers are getting the highest caliber of available ingredients as well as proper preparation and sincere customer service.
Although his actions as management were deplorable I was helped by two other employees(Ryan & Heather) who clearly need to be promoted to his position!!
Choosing to eat at this establishment is at your own risk while understanding that Vinny does not deal with complaints in a strict manner while taking all the necessary measures to make sure that such incidents do not...
