Mexico Lindo — Restaurant in Knox

My husband asked me go up give the place another try, June 20, 2022. Skeptical at best but I placed an order for him. I went in and oh the ceiling fans etc still black, it's just gross. While I waited for the order I will say the lady was nice. The man acted like he didn't want be there. 42 bucks. Crazy but for 42 bucks I'd like my food taste good. AGAIN SALSA IS WATER. YOU NEED A STRAW DRINK IT. Rice is bland no flavor. Cheese sauce like water also. Very disappointed. I WILL NOT BE BACK. Just wondering if people that actually go there are there for the food or the booze? Maybe after kicking back back few they can't taste or don't care about the quality or taste of the food..beats me. Id for go this place unless you just want a few beers. Apparently they don't care about the reviews because I can see many people have same complaints. I like to eat in a CLEAN place. Call me crazy. Sat in a booth blinds beside us and behind us filthy ugh. Looked up air vents covered in black then looked at ceiling fans all thru the place thickly coated black dust clods of it gross. Salsa is very watery like you need drink it or use a soup spoon worst salsa ever. They have remodeled inside and out. Looks nice. Which is why we went a second time and disregarded the uncleanliness. It seems like they Used to be much better... unfortunately the last few times I have went something has been wrong with the food or something has been left out or we seem to be overcharged... the prices for some reason are often different than the time before and not the same as the menu. The food tastes different just about each time too. Last couple times the white cheese dip was not so good actually either way to watery or super thick and tasted like flour. My past order, I did tell them about it and it didnt seem acknowledged but i did order it again and they mustve forgot it bc i didnt get it. I called back and told them and was put on hold for about 15 minutes before I decided to disconnect. It was approx an hour before closing so that could be why?? Unfortunately, I don't exactly feel like the customer is very appreciated or heard... which isndisappointing bc this usef to be our go to spot almost weekly. I WISH I could give a big 0!! Order from their menu on the internet. The same menu I have ordered from before when I would place an order inside of their restaurant. The dinner was for 2 at $27.99. Plus I ordered another side that said it was $8.99. Go in to pick up the food and it’s over $53!!! The food wasn’t ready, so I waited. I thought possibly that there was a mixup from the language difference. So after waiting almost a hour since I ordered the food I get a bag with 3 boxes. I get it home and find that most of the other things like chips and salsa and other items never made it in the bag. I call there and they try to tell me that I didn’t order from their menu. Their prices are much higher than the one on the internet. Even if that was true, which it isn’t, the price still doesn’t add up!!
