China Garden — Restaurant in Knox

This place has good food, but I’m from out of town and I went in there twice about a month apart. The old guy that works the cash register is very, very RUDE. While I was looking at the menu he kept saying what u want to order. I’m not in line but he stands over me sighing ( huffing and puffing ) blowing his breath. They wasn’t closing for two hours so I asked him y r u rushing me are u closing and he had the audacity to say yes. He had the hurry up and buy so u can get out attitude. What restaurant rushes people to figure out what they want to purchase. He could’ve wet to mop the floor or helped the cook while I was deciding my meal. Nope he sat right in my face talked Asian language under his breath sighing. I had to walk out trying to figure out what the hell did I do wrong? NOTHING BUT TRIED TO SUPPORT THE WRONG...

I will never visit your restaurant again I was there a week ago and there was an older lady and her older grandchildren she asked for a couple of to go boxes and the girl at counter wasn't too happy about so she looked to see how many boxes she would need and came out with 4 small boxes for her rolling her eyes at them they had alot of food left there was no way to fit it all in th ed 4 small boxes so they asked for 2 more and again the girl rolled her eyes and was rude and made them get up for them. Don't get me wrong the food was great but the service was horrible not a very pleasant place to be..Not happy at...

Overall, I found the experience here to be pretty good. If you come during lunchtime, they have a buffet, and during said buffet, they consistently bring out freshly made food. Our food was warm and tasty, with the only food being evidently not-very-fresh was the crab rangoon. While the decor was rather bland and the restroom in need of a little bit of work (some recaulking), I won’t detract too much based on that since that’s not really what a person goes to a Chinese restaurant for. A person typically goes to a Chinese restaurant to eat from the buffet or get takeout.
