Twisted Mikes is a delightful hidden gem that beckons you to pull up a stool and settle in for an experience that feels both refreshing and familiar. This small bar, with its unpretentious charm, is a testament to the beauty of simplicity in a world that often overcomplicates.
The outdoor section is a breath of fresh air, offering a cozy spot to sip on expertly crafted drinks while soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. The owner, a true aficionado of the craft, is usually found mingling with patrons—his warmth and authenticity a welcome touch in an era of sterile service.
It’s not about grandeur here; it’s about connection and camaraderie, two things that this fine establishment nails beautifully. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, you’ll find yourself drawn back again and again. Twisted Mikes isn’t just a bar; it’s a lifestyles anchor, a reminder that sometimes the best experiences are found in the most unassuming places. Cheers to that. One of my favorite...
Read more9/5/22 - A tiny dive bar, with more area out at the patio than inside. Inside, this place seats about 40 people maximum, including 10 at the bar. On weekends & college nights, it can be stuffed with no room to move, and makes it tough to reach the bathroom or get a new beer. They desperately need to renovate to replace the whole patio area for more seating and probably add a second floor.

Speaking of lines, expect one to their two private bathrooms, but at least they're clean. You'll probably see guys using a dark patio corner just to take a whiz.
On Sunday & Monday nights they host free Texas Hold 'Em Poker, top three win food & drink vouchers. Regulars can earn points to make it to a finals...
Read morehad a really bad experience at Twisted mikes .When I first walked in and sat with my friend she yelled I shouldn’t even be in there because I’m not 21 I haven’t even ordered drinks yet then I gave the bartender my ID, and even though I'm 21, she refused to serve me. The worst part? She served my friend, who is also 21, without any issues.
It felt like I was being treated unfairly because I'm not white. When I also asked one of the cooks if the kitchen is still open he said yes but the bartender Jax refused to even let me order food , she just brushed me off. It was frustrating and made me feel really unwelcome. I hope Twisted Mikes fixes this and treats everyone equally. Until then, I can't recommend this place to anyone who cares about fair treatment. Incredibly racist behavior from this...
