When we came in, the gentleman at the host stand was very nice and super sweet to our son. He even gave him a cool shark hat for shark week. We sat down and it all went down hill. My husband ordered a beer, and the server brought him a partially filled glass and said the keg blew and she would bring back some more when the bartender changed it. We ordered our food, and she brought back a beer that had lettuce stuck to the inside of the glass! Gross. We got our food dropped off and my husbands quesadilla is not what he ordered. My birria tacos were served with cold broth on the side that tasted like it had been sitting out for too long. Very foul. The server never came back, so I got up and the host immediately asked if he could help with anything. I asked if he could just send our server over… she still didn’t come back, but the manager did and literally didn’t care one bit about the multiple issues at our table. He took my tacos off the bill, and didn’t even acknowledge the nasty glass that my husbands beer was served in, or the fact that his order was completely incorrect. The server brought our bill, and this was the only other time we ever saw her. We explained that the quesadilla was as not the right one, and tacos were gross, along with the dirty glass that we already spoke to the manager about. She literally laughed and said that she rang the order in wrong, and walked away with our card to cash us out. This place has literally TANKED over the past few years. We use to love it when we were locals before. Now that we’ve both moved back to town, we haven’t had one visit that something hasn’t been gross or just completely wrong. This was the LAST STRAW. Despite the many comments from friends and family about how it’s changed so much and not very good anymore… we’ve continued to try in hopes that it would...

I have eaten here many times with service going between terrible to great. One terrible night we were having a blast and accordong to staff later informed us on. An employee called a female friend to report a couple in the restaurant that resulted in a fight. A glass and a beer bottle were thrown and glass flew in our direction as they had been seated in a corner booth behind us. Our food had just arrived. We explained to the manager concerns that our food or beverages may contain glass. He stated no glass was in the area yet the waitress had wiped it off the table and swept it from under too. He then took some our food and drinks and brought me back a poorly mixed drink he had made himself that was half full as mine had been when he took it. And said he'd fix the food. Yet after 40min no food and a half poorly made drink from him not the bar tender we left. Our evening was ruined and I felt cheated. I have since given them more buisness yet that TERRIBLE example of a manager left me with a bad taste about Hacienda. We go for the drinks and atmosphere. I could care less if that manager got fired, he was terrible. I'm not one for hand outs but that wasn't our fault and our bill was over a $150.00. Some people...

Hacienda Mexican Restaurant in Kokomo is more than just a place to grab a great meal — it's a local tradition that has stood the test of time. For years, this spot has been a staple in the Kokomo community, and it's easy to see why. The atmosphere is always welcoming, the service is consistently friendly, and the food? Outstanding every time.

Whether you’re meeting friends for margaritas, bringing the family out for a birthday dinner, or just craving some chips and salsa, Hacienda delivers with flavor and consistency. Their menu has something for everyone, from sizzling fajitas to hearty burritos and signature dishes you can’t find anywhere else. The portions are generous, and everything comes out hot and fresh.

It’s not just about the food — Hacienda has become part of Kokomo’s identity. Generations of families have made memories here, and it’s the kind of place people return to again and again. There's something comforting about walking through the doors and knowing you're going to get a great meal in a place that feels like home.

Ate here tonight (still here as I type this) Food was not the greatest. It’s been a year that my husband and I have eaten here. We decided to give it another try since he “loves” their chips and salsa. The chips and salsa is probably the only thing that tastes good, I’ll give them that! I ordered their tostada x2 and we waited 45 minutes for our order to come to our table and the tostadas were super soggy. Covered with 90% of cheese and lettuce and tomato and cilantro and onions. I didn’t even eat most of my meal, just the rice and beans. Our waitress was good. We will not be back though. We have given this place one too many times and it’s always bland. Prior to this last visit, again, about a year ago, I had ordered 3 tacos; 1 beef, 1 pork & 1 chicken. The beef (fajita) was super tough and hard to eat. The chicken was very dry. The pork was the only one that was good & the only one I finished eating. You guys should probably also sell aguas frescas considering you guys are a Mexican restaurant and most do.

Greeted by the host and seated promptly. This restaurant is a Mexican themed American take on Mexican food. Waitress didn't come around and take drink orders for the two of us for a long time. After reviewing the menu I was told twice that the items I wanted were not available? I thought whatever give me something you do have? The menus are shrinking along with the selection. Three dollar drinks and sides add up quick! Chimichanga was just OK. If this is Your Place things are changing check back soon. I would not personally recommend this establishment. Enjoy!

CHIMICHANGAS is what I ordered I got one small tiny one. It tasted good. The bread around it tasted good freshly baked. The chicken had no flavor and it was just plain shredded chicken inside nothing else inside. I had a small side of rice the smallest I have ever gotten at any Mexican restaurant. The portions were just so small for a dinner very disappointed it was not authentic with large portion sizes. I also had a very small thing of refried beans. They were afraid to give me any food I guess.
