If I could give a zero stars review.. I would. On the way to work we stopped and ordered 2 Steak and wake sandwiches. On the way in the entire parking lot was covered in ice, like an ice skating rink, and we tried to inform the manager who LITERALLY IGNORED the comment, didn't even say anything, just turned away and walked off angrily. People have bad days.. I get it. They're the ones liable if someone falls so, ok... we let it go.
In a hurry to get to work, made a huge mistake and didn't double check the order. The sandwiches we received had zero meat, zero cheese, and a scrap of over salted egg ( I Iove salt... this was crazy tho). Nothing. No meat at all... like it didn't even get dragged thru some meat grease... never even saw a piece of cheese.. We paid over 14 dollars for 4 pieces of dry, hard bread and maybe 1 egg between the 2 sandwiches. What we did get was inedible.
Tried calling the store to address the problem, this is the 3rd time they've forgotten something but this time was EVERYTHING... nobody will answer the phones. I tried calling for an hour.
I'm not often a complainer, and I've worked in the industry all my life so I understand... but this is a blatant disregard for their customer's experience, and when you factor the ice in, their safety as well.
I will be lodging a formal complaint with Panera as...
Read moreI placed an online order for bagels and coffee to take to work. I originally wanted the order by 7:45, but because of the size of the order the online ordering adjusted the time to 8:00 a.m.. I arrived at 7:45 hopeful, did not see the order waiting but no big deal and figured while I was waiting I would place a latte order for myself. While the wonderful lady was preparing my coffee, I inquired about my order in which she went in the back and checked on it. The very next moment the morning manager delightfully walks out from the back kitchen with my full order in hand! When I placed the order I made the mistake of not requesting the bagels to be sliced. I asked if it was too late to accommodate this request, with a smile on her face she replied absolutely not and proceeded to slice all 36 bagels. Again while waiting I reminded the first gal that I still owed her for the latte, in which she replied "oh no it's on me!" Shocked and amazed and left speechless. While a simple gesture, it was above and beyond, and certainly unexpected. I walked out with my full order at 7:50 a.m.. Don't know what else more positive I can say about this experience, but it made my day. I only hope the rest of their day is treated with the same kindness and outstanding professionalism...
Read moreWe literally just left the store and I'm disappointed. I went there in hopes to eat a nice lunch with my daughter inside the restaurant. I also ordered a third meal to take to my family member who is at work. I asked that the third meal wait to be prepared so the Mac n cheese sandwich wouldn't be cold by the time I took it to the person not with us. The lady at the register said there was no way for her to do that. No way to delay one part of the order or put it in as a to go? I hadn't even paid yet. It doesn't make sense. So, I had to change all 3 of my orders to go, as to not bring my loved one cold food. My daughter and I had to miss out on having a nice meal together out of the house. It's my first time to Panera (I was given a gift card for the holidays). On top of all that, they got my order wrong. Two of the issues I can look past, but I said "no meat" on the apple salad bc of dietary issues with the one of the meals. You can call me a Karen. I don't usually complain bc I work in the industry, but for a first impression, I'm not sure I understand why Panera functions this way. I guess in happy to know I haven't been missing out all these years. Widow. Lol Probably...
