I have Total Tech support. I have made significant amounts of purchases over a few years. I had a warranty on a nice TV which started a significant defect. They warranty department made good on the transfer. But there was suppose to be a professional home theater team to set up the new tv. Two men arrived with my tv and as I spoke with them, I found out they were not the theater team but mere drop off agents. So, I had them box it back up and set a professional setup at a different date. One of the drop off agents was rather rude about my original decision and became rather disrespectful. That team returned the tv back to the store. Later I set up a professional install date with a professional home theater team. When they arrived they stated that they were to merely drop off the set. After some rebuttal, they read the notes to find that indeed it was an installation. They completed the install and the tv set so low they said they could not set up my PS4 pro. I told them I would just find a way later to put it into place. On the same day I found a way to hook up the PS4. Much to my surprise, the power cord to the PS4 was nowhere to be found. I was in disbelief that the cord was not near the setup area for the gaming unit. I looked throughout the house and could not find it. I called Best Buy and they said that they could not get contact with the setup team. He assured me that I would get my cord back and five days later, no call. I had already ordered a new power cord from Amazon and received it. I am still waiting to hear from Best Buy. If I were you, if you have an install, watch the team like a hawk. If a cord can come up missing, I wander what else could be misplaced or possibly stolen. I am not accusing theft, but I sure am not ruling it out as of now. All wires should be placed in the vicinity of the device. What will be done. I nearly reported a theft charge with the police department. I am trying to let Best Buy handle it. Hope I didn't make the wrong decision. I am not categorizing all persons of teams of wrong doing, just that...
Read moreShopped online for a set of replacement speakers. Best Buy online site stated that they were in stock at Kokomo store. Drove to Kokomo store. Entered store and located car audio area. Was told by a store representative that someone would be with me shortly. I looked at the car audio speaker display and could not locate the particular model of speakers that I wished to purchase. I then proceeded to walk down the aisle past the in dash stereo units and observed the particular speakers I was going to purchase on an overhead storage area. I waited for approximately ten minutes for a store representative to wait on me. I then proceeded to use the overhead ladder to retrieve the item that I wished to purchase. I then proceeded to checkout area to purchase the item that I retrieved from inventory storage area due to lack of store representatives. There were no store representatives attending the checkout area. I asked the store security person where I was to go to pay for the item that I retrieved from inventory storage area. I was unable to locate the self checkout aisle. He stated that I was to pay for my item at the customer service desk. I proceeded to the customer service desk and joined the crowd of people waiting to pay for the items that they wished to purchase from the only store representative that could operate a cash register. He apologized repeatedly for my wait. After another ten minute wait the only store representative that could operate a cash register was able to ring up my sale and take my money so I could leave this fine establishment with my hard earned merchandise. Cant wait till tomorrow to come back and buy...
Read moreUsed to love best buy. All my tech in one place. Always great customer service until today. Bought a new 65 in TCL 65qm6k today. Brought it home put it together and nothing no power on the TV. Here is where the trouble really starts for me. I called the store number I got off the internet and of course I got an automated answering question bs. I keep say I want to talk to customer service. They connect me to a call center in who know where. I told them I want customer service in my home store. Tried once sorry sir can't get through. Ok well I want someone form the store load up another tv and bring it to my house and take this one with them. I was rude and upset I will admit it so they just hang up on me. So call again. Now I get told they can exchange it but not for another 5 days. Ok so you going to compensate me for my tv that doesn't work. Well sir I can set up an exchange at the store. No the most dangerous part for a big tv is transport. If I said yes and the screen cracked on the way back to the store it would have been on me. So then he's says they can change it out in 5 days and they will call me the day before and let me know when they can be at my house. That's not going to work unless it's after 3 pm I have a job. We'll sir I will see if they will accommodate that. Now really where is customer service why should I have to have an act of congress seem like when all they should have done in my opinion is loaded it up on a truck brought me the new one and took this one. I live 10 minutes from the store. Am I asking for to much in...
