Big Shooter Coffee — Restaurant in Kremmling

Obviously the beverages are very good. But, I thought I should warn tourists and first time visitors about a hazard within the shop. There are 2 levels of flooring. The higher level is where orders are placed, the lower level provides additional seating. There is a significant drop off as you enter the lower area. No apparent signs to indicate that caution is needed. My wife and son visited the business on December 14. My wife said that she fell while walking to the lower level, twisting her knee and dropping her ice cream cone in the process. After my son cleaned up the mess, my wife thought she might get a fresh ice cream cone. The answer was no. The explanation from the staff was twofold; first, a cone had already been delivered to the customer (my wife). Second, the staff stated that it was not their job to keep her safe (in the store). Amazing Blended Ice Lattes! While out driving the countryside sightseeing, we had a desire for an iced coffee and Google said this was the closest one. Although Kremmling seems quaint, this place has the vibe of an upscale coffee shop in a burgeoning new city! The decor inside is so unique and selection is vast! My wife and I got Caramel Blended Ice Lattes and the kids got Root Beer Floats, which they also loved! If traveling near the area, I definitely recommend stopping in. The employees we met are also super friendly, which is awesome to find these days where most young people don’t know the meaning of customer service and are absorbed in their phones. On our way back from Steamboat Springs, Big Shooter is a family favorite for coffee and ice cream. Since it was cold outside we all opted for some hot coffee drinks, all expertly made by the young barista behind the counter. Service was warm, quick and friendly. There is plenty of seating and lots of eclectic and interesting decor to look at. We were still full from breakfast so unfortunately we didn’t have anything to eat although the delicious looking pastries and food menu were tempting.
