I have been to this place a few times since it had opened. I had planned to give them a few weeks of being open to review the place. I am not sure what the decision was to design a store that small, but they should have rethought it. If you have more than 3 customers in the store, it can get a little tight. The day I went I noticed over 10 employees working, which was entirely too many.I am not sure if the manager was training new folks or what. The manager was definitely on top of things. If I was rating just the manager, she would have gotten 5 stars. There should have been one person at the register, one person fulling orders, one person at the drive through, one person helping that person out, a "floater" who would jump in where necessary and someone working the dining area. I counted over 10 employees working. I went to the register, ordered my custard and sat at the table right in front of the counter. They were calling out orders, but could not hear the names. I say in front so the young girl would see me and hand me my order. When two families that came in after me got their order, I went to the register and was like, "Um, did you forget about me?" The young girl took my order immediately said, "I called your name." No, sweetheart, you did not. I sat at the table right in front of you and never left the store. She apparently put my order in the cooler. I am not sure if was her first job or not. She could have been a bit more professional and not be so quick to be rude and dismissive. I get it that you are a new store, but you have to have a better system of getting folks their orders. There is not an easy way to hear orders being called out. Either give out numbers and have a sign for folks to watch for their numbers, or get some sort of intercom system so folks can hear. If you were sitting outside, you would probably miss your order as well.
I have started going through the drive through to avoid any issues with ordering inside the store. The custard is very good and everything I have ordered has been fantastic. The chocolate chip cookie was frozen solid and I did have to let it defrost before I bit into it, or I might have chipped a tooth. I will stick to the custard with mixins. Abbott's, I give you an A for effort, but you definitely need to step it up as your...

We went once and had some delicious strawberry shortcake custard. They gave us a coupon for a free scoop for each person in the family since it was a new place. Expiration date was clearly printed for 12/31/24.
We were very excited about that. Our eating out budget has shrunk considerably because of inflation so the thought of being able to bring our kids to get a free scoop of custard later was amazing.
We went back a couple weeks later. And we were told we could not use it. I showed them expiration date and they agreed that it had not expired, and yet they would not honor it. There were probably six or seven younger people working behind the counter, but there was a manager that they checked with. The official answer was that “it was a typo.”
It was clearly not a typo. For some reason management just decided that they were not going to honor the very clearly printed coupon they had handed us just a couple weeks before.
We left without getting custard. It honestly was embarrassing.
Even if the company had made a typo , they are the ones that handed them out and had customers expecting for them to be fulfilled, they should have honored it. But I don’t think that was the case. I think they just decided they didn’t want to honor it and the typo was their excuse.
It made me feel so devalued. I...
Read moreThird time trying this place. First, let me say there’s nothing wrong with the custard — it’s good. The service is also polite and friendly, though maybe not the most organized.
The first time, they got the order wrong. Okay, stuff happens, and they had only been open a few weeks. The second time, it was dead — we got our order with no problem. It was delicious, and even though my kid and I shared, we couldn’t finish it (which is saying something). This time, we came back, and I get it — it’s a Saturday evening — but also… it’s a Saturday evening. They were out of a lot of the main ingredients: peanut butter cup, cookie dough, Reese’s, and even dipped cones.
I tried to be cool about it. I get it — stuff runs out when you’re busy. But in the back of my mind, I’m thinking, “It’s Saturday — maybe get your shipment on Thursday, bruh.”
Then, after we ordered, they lost half our order — of course, it was my kid’s sundae. So now I’m standing there, holding my melting custard, trying to figure out where my kid’s order went.
In fairness, they were busy, and when they have everything in stock, their product is good. But the service — while super friendly — isn’t great, and just know: when they’re busy, the parking lot is a...
