KFC — Restaurant in La Grange

First, I want to say they had a sign that said they were short staffed (which is usually a sign of poor management), so I tried to take it easy on them.

DRIVE THRU I waited at least 10 minutes, listening to a speaker box that was making an awful clicking noise, before I was greeted by an employee.

Once given the okay by the employee, placing my order was quick and easy.

I pulled up to the window, paid, was given drinks, and asked to pull next to the cardboard dumpster and wait for my order, the wings on my order required extra cooking time.

After 13 minutes of waiting I called the store just to be sure they remembered we were out here. They said they just pulled the wings up and would be out in a minute.

They brought out the bags and quickly walked away.

All of our items were there but no utensils were included and we purchased 9 sides.

It took calling for 7 minutes, multiple times before anyone would answer (the dining room was closed).

They finally answered, brought them out, apologized and gave us cookies.

Once we finally started eating we realized the two ordered of chicken tenders we ordered were over cooked and saturated in oil.

We were in Kentucky from Ohio and got what ever reason expected them to have like the best of the best chicken and we were highly disappointed...

First off I'm just going to say the service was laughable, I stood there for 20 minutes waiting for my order (I made an online order 10-15 minutes before I arrived) nothing. I finally went up and asked what was going on and showed them my receipt. They said that they will work on it and that I should have it in two minutes. 15 minutes later they called my name and gave my food. I sat down and realized that they gave me neither of the sauces I ordered nor did they give me my drink. I went back up to get my drink and sauces and had to wait another 3 minutes before someone even came to the counter. After finally getting all the stuff I ordered I sat down to eat and enjoy my food that now took 35 minutes to get. I ordered nuggets and a SPICY chicken sandwich. I eat the nuggets and they’re pretty good, then I bite into my sandwich. No spice at all, they gave me a bland regular sandwich, by the time this whole fiasco unfolded I was out of time and had to leave. First off I don’t leave bad reviews for anything. But this place was a mess. They were short staffed, boxes and junk were laying everywhere in the kitchen, and the food was terrible. When I opened the box I realized there was ZERO heat coming from the chicken. Everything was warm at best. So I put the chicken in the oven to warm it up. The green beans were so light in color, they were not even green. I tossed those out. Me and my family ate the potatoes, Mac & cheese, biscuits and chicken. Every one of us got sick. All got upset stomachs, and were running to the bathroom all night and even the next day. My kids were complaining from stomach pain, and my one year old (who only ate chicken, which we had we shredded with no breading, Mac and cheese and a biscuit) also had diarrhea for the last two days. I don’t know what’s going on up there, but not only am I disappointed, but I am very unhappy with the entire experience. I will not be going back, and will look to file a complaint.
