My visit was in late December 2024.
Cons: Seating can be a bit tricky at times, especially as they played musical chairs with us and around us in an effort to accommodate a large incoming party. There are no heated lamps outside for the winter, and inside isn't much better when the front doors open, as the open kitchen fans create a draft that sweeps into the dining area. Additionally, the frequent opening of the doors due to a high volume of carryout and phone orders can be a bit disruptive.
Pros: As always, the food was excellent. Even the fusion dishes stayed true to their original recipes, with slight enhancements that made them even better. I was pleased to see the Chica Morada remained unchanged. Though the seco wasn't made with cordero, the beef version was still delicious, as the beef cuts were tender and well-seasoned. The portions are just right for two hungry diners, and the prices are reasonable for...
Read moreWow! The food here is amazing. Very fresh, cooked to order and the menu is extensive. We’ll plated dishes were very generous and the price point is ideal. Drink selection is good and plenty of choices. No alcohol sold here. Although it has a fast food vibe the place is perfect for a sit down with friends and family. Friendly and welcoming staff. You can see your meals being prepared while you sit and wait. It's worth it! The missing star is for the lack of attentiveness from the servers. I know the place is new but this has to be addressed. Customer satisfaction should be all-encompassing. While we were there it was obvious that the owners or partners were present and I know they saw us waiting too long for service to come to us yet did nothing. I would return for the food but the service attentiveness needs to improve.
8/15/25 two years later and the service has not improved at all. The food...
Read moreIt was a slow service. I can't blame them. These times, it's hard to find real workers, and you get the greatness of the owners' hands-on expertise. This food was delicious and authentic flavors. With a lot of peruvian restaurants we have tried, because my wife is peruvian she hears of her people restaurants and she has to go. This one, I would say, is by far the best authentic place I've been to. No, I do not know anyone here. I did not order my plate here, but I picked at my daughter's plate and my wife's, I got some pho next door in fear I may have some mediocre peruvian food. Well, I was wrong. I'm just saying. It's a real quick wait for parking. But this place in its integrity 👏 👌 🙌 😌 ✨️ ❤️ was pleasing. They have a Chai place I tried. Noodle bar, and peruvian. I was definitely pleased. I'll be coming back 1 day. 😔 when I'm around. It was worth the 20 minutes out of the way...
