First and last time here. Came bc friend recommended and it has good reviews. The dinner had a good start with soups that were great. Then the appetizer Buffalo chicken wings came 45 minutes later and the wings were probably the worst I have ever had. They tasted like it was microwaved the sprinkle sauce on top and dumped them on a big plate so it looked like leftover. Then another 20 minutes wait before the pasta came. The penne was so oily. The seafood pasta had baby pinky size “scallops “ and four shrimps. They tasted fishy as indication they might be old. The sauce was too creamy. We only took a few bites and left most of the dinner untouched before we left. Very disappointed. The place was half filled with a large group next to us. A couple guys came out from the kitchen to greet the group. I wish I didn’t look over bc the aprons on these guys (looked like chefs) were very dirty.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve been driving by Vinny’s Italian restaurant for a decade and finally decided to stop by. One thing’s for sure—Vinny’s delivers on first impressions! It was a delightful discovery to learn that Vinny’s cousins come to SoCal for the winter, and during the five months they’re here, they whip up some incredibly tasty soups. The Chicken Pot Pie Soup was simply perfect in proving that homestyle comfort feeling. Their Gnocchi in Pesto is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had; each bite was a little bit of heaven. My wife had the Chicken Parm Sandwich, and it didn’t disappoint either. Vinny’s offers a very family-oriented atmosphere and you can tell it’s a beloved spot for the local community. While the service was a bit slow, the friendly staff and the food more than made up for it. We will definitely be back.

Vinny's is very clean and well managed family owned old school Italian food restaurant. The recipe for their lasagna reminds me of the way the homemade sauces used to taste. The pizza pie is incredible with generous portions of toppings and baked perfect. Their tiramisu is to die for and the alcohol they use is a family secret. The family all work hard to provide great service and Tiffany was the best server we have had dining out in quite awhile. The photo is my family and Vinny the owner. It was our first time but it is officially going to be our regular weekly dine in spot.

GOT FOOD POISIONING THE FOLLOWING DAY. The night of got the runs and thought nothing of it will the next day I had to leave work early due to the pains and constantly having to be on the toilet.

Told to sit anywhere on the one side which we did and of course we happened to sit at a table that hadn't been wiped down. There were 4 family's in the restaurant and the table was cleared prior to us entering and just off putting that it wasn't wiped down right after it was cleared. -The root beer tasted flat and missing flavor -The tortellini sauce had no flavor and same thing with the chicken parm Sandwich. The chicken was ok but nothing to wow over. -first time I've been anywhere that I put so much pepper flakes on my food and it had no taste or heat to it at all. Like it was dried out and old. Normally I sprinkle a few shakes to add heat to my food but I literally opened the container and ate a straight pinch of fit and had no flavor or heat at all. both meals were mildly warm when they came to the table waitress was nice but you can tell they both didn't work or help out one another on the different tables. The other waitress walked by my table 4 times empty handed while I had my empty glass at the end of the table and I didn't get a refill till my waitress came by. Had football games on and both TVs had the news on them. Even if your not into sports you should have atleast one tv with some sort of sporting event on.

All around not impressed and will not be going back. Been here once in the past and had a decent experience but obviously things have gone down hill a bit. Very...

Was excited to try Vinny's after seeing all the superb reviews.. It was a little underwhelming. Ordered for to-gp the spaghetti w/ creamy marinara add shrimp with a small antipasto salad and the total came out to $27! Wow, almost $30 for a meal for myself.

Spaghetti w/ creamy marinara- I expected this to be more creamy. It was more watery than I thought it would be. Definitely need to add shrimp or chicken because it would be so bland without it. Btw, shrimp was extra $5!!!

Antipasto salad- this was the real reason I wanted to try Vinny's. The salad looked so damn good! Tip: ask for the italian and ranch sauce and mix it together for creamy italian. The salad would have been good but there was hardly any lettuce in it! I felt like I was eating only deli meat and cheese, so it was sooo salty. Please add more lettuce into your salad!

The garlic bread was pretty good though. All in all, nothing special. Not sure if I will be back. Seems like the locals like it. Just an observation, but when I went to go pick up my order, the counter was a mess. At least 3 people's orders were messed up in some way but everyone was ok with it and they all seemed...

Tonight, I was invited to eat at Vinnies by a buddy and his group. I was told the food was good. Reality check, my friend apologized about the disgusting “lasagna” and abysmal service I experienced. I ate 2 bites and told my friend I can’t eat another bite of this horrible dish. The best lasagna around is at Roma Cucina in Fullerton. This was not as good as any frozen lasagna out there. This lasagna had an awful taste that I can’t describe. I do not like leaving negative reviews unless it was an awful experience. This is one of those cases. To make matters worse, when the waiter came up to ask if we wanted our dishes packaged to go I told him that my lasagna was the worst ever, and not edible. If the waiter were a pro he would have cone by mid service to ask how our food was, I would have told him to remove my dish but he never showed up till the end. This untrained waiter didn’t even offer to not charge me because I didn’t eat but 2 bites. Folks, stay away from this dump. It’s not a true Italian restaurant. 1 star is too high for...
