We were invited to the soft opening by our nephew who is an employee and we were asked to leave. we were told they were only open for the employees to practice. we explained that our nephew imvited us and the owner or manager or whoever he was didnt even know who my nephew was. about to ooen and you dont even know who ypur employees are. he was rude the entire converation. it looks like you are the one that needs the training in how to talk to people. customer service skills are lacking. Although my nephew works there that location will never get one penny of my money. My whole family really felt let down by the entire experience. I sure hope that guy does not treat my nephew like that as an employee. It's cool all Gladly drive to college Avenue or to Santee before I ever go to that new one in La Mesa. By the way you can't Explain to someone that your location is not open when there is A-line wrapped all the way around the tables. What you should have said was this was a private event that was invite only And when I told you my nephew work there and I gave you as full name you should a went to check to see if that was actually one of your employees and if he really did tell...
Read moreI really enjoy jersey mikes whenever I’m in the mood for a sandwich this is my go to place. That’s why I hate to write this. Today I had an unpleasant experience I ordered my sandwich and when it came to toppings the sandwich artist automatically added mayo to my sub. I told them I did not want mayo and the artist tried to scrap it off. I’m allergic and I cannot eat it at all. So I asked for a different bread and the girl slicing the bread and meats seemed to get bothered. And proceeded to tell me “he did ask you if you wanted mayo and you said yes”. To begin with I was not asked at all if I wanted mayo but I’m not gonna argue I literally just want my lunch. Then she proceeded to say “we’ll that kind of sandwich comes with mayo” I understand that but I have always been asked my condiments before it being placed on my sub. I still apologised even though I shouldn’t have. I’m the customer and if I’m spending my hard earned money here I want it done the way I want it. I just don’t appreciate the attitude and demeanour. I work customer service myself so I know how to treat people. To say the least I couldn’t even enjoy my lunch because of the energy that...
Read moreSo sad to hear the BRAND new management did not know what they were doing or who their personnel were. Sorry to hear about all the excitement the Henderson family had to support their nephew, if it were me I would be super angry, I hope you write to corporate about your poor, feeble experience. We usually go to the College area, far for us but they are worth it, we know a few of them now. My husband has been waiting for the La Mesa store to open, he loves Jersey Mike that much. I will not tell him of your experience but when we go, this weekend, I will pay extra attention and record names so if I have to report to corporate I will have my facts straight. I will write a FULL report!
Sorry for the bad experience, Henderson's, I hope your nephew got over it and is OK or hopefully moved on. I will ask for...
