I got there right when they were opening and having been in food service 90% of my adult life, I know it's tough to greet the 1st customer with happiness and bubbly personality but these workers did just that! Submarina is my favorite sandwich place bar none. While it may be more expensive than Subway, each and every one of those dollars pays for quality that Subway could only dream of. They have the freshest ingredients, bread that tastes like and feels like real bread and mountains of freshly sliced deli meats as thick or diaphanously, deliciously thin as you like it. The staff at this location and all others I have been to are always wonderful. None of the chains, big or small, compare to Submarina and the Grossmont location is one such exemplar...

I love this place for sandwiches. They have the sqaw bread on hoagie roll which I LOVE. They also have an onion roll as well, plus the other normal breads for your choosing. Nice service and they move pretty fast. If you have a large order, please call that in to speed things up. Be considerate to them and other patrons. Enjoy eating here! It's good!
