World Market — Local services in La Mesa

My husband and I Walked into a worldmarket ( Grossmont shopping center) store yesterday just to browse, and came upon a really nice looking modular couch we fell in Love with. One of the staff members who helped us out who’s name is Breece was so kind, very attentive and very helpful! She went above and beyond from helping us with answering all the questions we had about the couch to locating what pieces were available to sell and the total pricing. Her customer service skills were awesome!! Yasmina was also a big help while breece was locating available pieces and keeping us updated Yazmina helped my husband register online via phone on the world market app to redeem coupons for more savings. There was also a woman named Izabella who was also super helpful, she assisted Breece with keeping us updated on the pieces of furniture. Unfortunately we didn’t end up getting the couch, we went home that night and after measuring the space in our place it just wouldn’t work out in our current place. I visited World Plus after searching for some beautiful glasses I originally bought at Costco. I didn’t get the juice glasses during my Costco run, so I Googled them and saw that World Plus carried the same style.

The store itself was very clean and well organized, which I appreciated 👌🏼. However, I wasn’t greeted when I walked in or as I left—not a huge deal, but definitely noticeable.

What really shocked me was the pricing. The juice glass was $7.99 and the regular glass was $9.99… I paid $22 for a set of 8 at Costco 😳. Unfortunately, the price point is way out of my budget.

It’s a nice store, but definitely on the high-end side for everyday items. If you’re budget-conscious like me, you may want to shop around first.

I love this place! It has so many great finds. You can find just about anything here. From glassware to bubble tea! All from different places from around the globe 🌎!
