Hai Sweet – La Mirada’s Hidden Gem for $1 Treats and Halo-Halo Bliss
Hai Sweet in La Mirada is an absolute gem! The location is clean, vibrant, and welcoming, with friendly staff who make the experience smooth and enjoyable from the moment you walk in.
I started with their $1 ice cream, and let me tell you—it’s amazing. Creamy, rich, and full of flavor, it’s the perfect quick treat that feels way more luxurious than its price tag suggests. In a world where everything’s getting more expensive, this little scoop of happiness stands out.
Then I tried the halo-halo, and it was next-level delicious. This traditional Filipino dessert was done right—a colorful, layered medley of sweet beans, jellies, flan, ube ice cream, and finely shaved ice, all coming together in a perfectly balanced, refreshing masterpiece. Every spoonful was an adventure in flavor and texture. It’s honestly one of the best deserts I’ve ever had. First time and a great time!
Between the warm service, clean space, and unbeatable value, Hai Sweet is one of those places that keeps you coming back. Highly recommend for anyone craving something sweet...

Whether you're a classic milk tea lover or like to try something new, there's something for everyone. Really I'd say start at 0% to see how you like it's base flavor. Will say that their ube and matcha taste natural, so...
