Pizza Hut — Restaurant in La Mirada

Pizza Hut has stayed the same over the years, but the prices haven't; as everything has inflated. As a kid, my parents would frequent the establishment, but nowadays, it sometimes doesn't seem worth it. Spending 50-60 dollars on lackluster pizza isn't alright; it doesn't quite justify the price. I've tried to order pizza from here, but my wallet and heart don't allow me to; I usually leave my cart full, and my belly empty However, today, the boneless breaded wings, which are the ones I like from here, were 70 cents each. Normally, I have paid about $23 for 16 boneless wings; ridiculous, I know. But I think they might have a deal on Thursdays for them now, it cpuld just be today, so check their app or website before ordering. If you like spicy, get the Buffalo burning hot. I absolutely love spicy, and these will make you sweat and get your lips burning; as the name of the sauce implies. I wish the prices went down a bit so I could purchase pizza from here, but I usually only get the boneless breaded wings. If I could purchase the Buffalo burning sauce in a bottle, I probably wouldn't buy the wings from here. I would buy the sauce, purchase frozen tenders or nuggets or wings, and toss them in it; im pretty sure the wings are all from a frozen bag anyway. Today, I spent about $13 dollars on a 16 piece boneless breaded wings. I asked for extra Buffalo burning sauce to be added inside, but I was told i had to purchase the sauces individually; it ended up being about $16.50 for 16 boneless...

I ordered two medium cheese pizzas $10.00 each $10.99 and two orders of Mozzarella cheese sticks $5.99 each. I picked up my order and thank God I inspected the pizzas. As you'll see in the photos one pizza looked like it fell apart (maybe dropped, the pieces didn't match and cheese melted on one slice like it was re-heated) and the other one was a little burnt. I showed the employee then asked for the manager. The manager looked at the mangled pizza and said "oh I just came on". I explained I'm showing her so she can find out how a National Pizza chain could mess up a pie like this. We all see video of employees doing unspeakable things to customers food. That what I first thought when I seen the disfigured Pizza. Where has it been. I then asked the Manager to make to new fresh Pizza that are not burned. She said all The cheese pizzas come out like that. She also said if I wanted them not burned they would be under cooked. I said just make the pizzas cooked but not burned. I was craving a pizza and decided to go to Pizza Hut. I ordered a $18.99 pizza and paid with a credit card. The pizzas are made fresh so I was told it was going to take about 15 minutes. It was during this 15 minutes that I looked at my receipt, or rather my credit card tape, and noticed that I was charged $22.35. Since the credit card tape wasn't itemized, I couldn't figure out why my charges increased $3.36. I asked the cashier and was told that a service charge was added to all orders, even though she couldn't tell me how much or what % it was. I also asked her if she had given me the itemized receipt and was told that they give the itemized receipt with the pizza. I was a little disappointed by the deceptive practices and the attempts to hide them. I was further disappointed when I asked for some crushed red pepper and was told that it would be an additional $1.15 per packet.
