Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in La Mirada

I went into this particular location to order a sandwich for my son and a sun in a tub for myself. I notified staff that I had a gluten allergy. I noticed that they had the clean area behind the counter. Then then person who was cutting the meat begins to take a dirty towel to wipe off the blades and bread crumbs from counter I said again I had an allergy. He says I'm going to wipe off and use a clean board. I said you are not using the clean area he said we use both. I passed on my salad because they are choosing to cross contaminated instead of using clean area. I won't be returning to this location die to the staff lack of care and training for allergies. No manager...

The sandwich I actually want is not on the menu. In order to make it I have to pay almost double to add 1 ingredient, OR pay for items to be removed. Sounds like a shifty deal. Cheaper, safer, and just as fast to make my own sandwich at home.

Turkey, bacon, cheese. Thats all I want. Pay 20% more to add bacon to one sandwich, or pay to have avocado removed for the other. The sandwich with avocado AND bacon is actually less expensive than adding the same to the other. The pricing scheme is angled to take more of your money, and...

It's 7:45 pm on a Sunday evening and they are all out of bread. Now it's obvious that nobody was paying attention to making more bread long before they ran out Can you imagine if IN-N-OUT ran out of bread or meat for that matter. IN-N-OUT NEVER runs out of anything. This is Very Poor Management and who suffers? The customer. This is like the newspaper running out of INK, it doesn't happen but here at Jersey Mike's we don't get paid enough to plan ahead. Waste of time and fuel
