Arby's has changed significantly over the past few years. They still have their classic roast beef sandwiches, but now they feature chicken sandwiches, including burgers.
The roast beef & cheddar are always good, but one of my favorites is the French Dip. If you like a little kick, but regular horseradish is too strong, the horsey sauce is a toned down version and goes really good with all the roast beef sandwiches.
Their drink selection has typical soft drinks and shakes, and you will have to consult the menu for the current shakes being offered.
When I visited the Arby's in Laporte, IN, a fairly new person was at the register and needed help from the manager with a discount and my gift card. I didn't mind the wait, and I understand that learning the register takes time.
The restaurant was very clean and well taken care of.

This is the second time I have tried to stop for a snack shake during happy hour and been told the machine was not working. Today I pull up and was met with “order when ready” not Hello, or welcome to Arbys. Then I said I would like a snack Jamocha shake. That was met with the machine was down yesterday and my manger fixed it so I’m not sure it works. I said ok, well that was all I was going to order, thinking she would say ok I’ll try it out, but instead was told yeah it wasn’t working yesterday so I am not sure if it’s working. The drive-through was a little slow... but I understand because hired help is hard to find. I got 3 'sliders' $1.65 each... I asked them to put lettuce on it... they said they would put it in a cup on the side in my bag, but when I got home, it wasn't there😥 I also ordered a small 'jamocha shake' $3.00... it was heavenly😍 I did give the young woman at the window a tip$... don't tell anyone... but I tend to do that a lot for the drive-through restaurants👍 I think they deserve all the help they can get in these crazy days...
