McDonald's — Restaurant in La Porte

This particular location has issues. I know these are trying times, but they have had the same trouble for the past year. It's next door to my favorite club, so an occasional "quick" late night drive through is tempting. On 3 occasions when I placed my order, they warn that they can only accept cash. I don't always carry cash, so I have had to leave without ordering. Last night I happened to have cash so I ordered a bacon McDouble, small fry and iced tea, not a difficult order. They had no iced tea, ok....a glass of water will do. There were two cars ahead of me and neither got big orders, yet when I got to the window I had to wait for them to cook my order. It was over 15 minutes in the drive through for a super simple order. While at the window, which was left open, I could hear the crew chatting and laughing, and finally my order was thrust out the window with barely a word, and no apology for the excessive wait as she hurried back to their conversation. The whole purpose of a McDonald’s experience is knowing you are going to get consistency. Knowing what you are going to get each time you go there. While on the phone with family member who ordered a vanilla iced coffee tonight-the manager came out and when family member complained about the coffee manager said “why are you complaining?” Because you should get consistency. When family member said they were going to go to Casey’s from now on, manager said “go ahead”. Definitely lost a customer from me as well. Didn’t even ATTEMPT to make it right or apologize. I was absolutely shocked that a manager would speak to a customer this way. He didn’t know someone overheard his comments. Teach your staff some quality control. Oh, wait-someone teach this MANAGER quality control and basic customer service skills. Some of his staff can actually make a decent vanilla iced coffee. Take your $$ down the road if it is...

This McDonald’s is the absolute worst horrible I waited eight minute for them to finally take my order to wait in line behind five other cars and the car in front of me only ordered 10 chicken nuggets and a small fry I have no clue or understanding why this store at around nine or 10 PM is so horribly slow. I waited in line for 17 minutes before I decided to leave which means I waited 24 minutes for something that supposed to be quick and fast. They never said hey we’re running behind we only have one worker or anything they take your order and make you wait for dang at 30 minutes and there is no one outside waiting not only that I have left several times to turn right back around and bring my order back because it was not made correctly I think tonight is the last night I will ever attend/attempt to purchase anything at the store...
