Something's happened here recently - I've been coming to this McDonalds for awhile, pretty frequently, and they've usually done a great job with fulfilling any kind of order during lunch, drive-thru, curbside, or any other way ordering on the app. I wonder if their system has been tampered with or has a bug or something, because the last two or three times I've ordered on the app (and I've tried it for both curbside or drive-thru), the curbside order got sent to drive-thru, and the way I learned that was because the app didn't give me a place to check in for curbside and put in my space number. So I picked it up at the drive-thru where they knew the order name and number at the speaker, but nobody knew what the order was at either of the windows.
So fast forward to today where I decide to forego ordering on the app at all and just try traditional drive-thru... Well, whoever took my order put in my chicken sandwich in as spicy rather than the regular deluxe... Whatever, wrong order-taking happens all the time. The guy at the payment window fixed it easy, no problem. I pull up to the second window, and I'm immediately told to pull around to the front even though there is no one behind me, and the drive thru queue is super empty. Nobody at the window gave me my drink nor my mcflurry. Now everybody is waiting for their food in the drive thru reserve parking spots, and the people bringing the food out don't know who it goes to because there are so many of us. When mine finally came, the guy only had the food. I asked him about the drink and mcflurry, and his response was "they didn't give it to you?" - as in they were supposed to give it to me at the window. He was a nice enough kid and went back in to go get it, he was pretty quick too. Kudos to him (and the payment window kid who fixed my order), but BOOOOOO on the management!!.
What should have been 30-60 seconds at the window turned into 4-5 minutes in a parking spot and fixing a whole lot of confusion. I don't know what McDonalds La Verne has done to their "systems" (Drive-thru, app, ALL OF IT!!), but its been wrecked. Don't break something that is not broken. You used to be accurate, quick, and provided full service at the two windows you have, but somethings changed in the last few weeks, and its not for the better. Its pretty bad now, and I'm done with these guys. I'll drive to San Dimas now for my trouble. I'm not doing La Verne anymore, even if it's...

Well, the closing time is inconsistent ( the drive thru) . A recent month ago , I tried to ordered online, like 12 midnight, all orders were not available. Then I saw a staff went back to a store like 1 am just to close the store. That is not fair for leaving the store or taking a break for an hour. I'm sure he was paid. For leaving the store and placing a cone on drive thru,? Why he have to back at 1 am . I saw this because I was in a parking lot from 11pm to 2 am.
This beside talking about what is drive thru mean.
When you at work, from wherever or whatever company you were considered that as your Family as where your money came from for you to have everyday expenses. And treat your customers , clients or members as your bread and butter so treat them with respect whether they are right or wrong! Comphrende? It's a second language LOL! And we as an employee we are the bread and butter of the company. So again treat your work as a family. Especially that includes, when you're wearing a uniform it signifies where you work. So place a dignity on that uniform...

I went through the drive through and asked if they were still offering the 2 for 5.00 deal of the McRib. They said that they were. So I went ahead and ordered two McRib and a 20 piece chicken nugget. I specified clearly that I wanted pure honey, not honey mustard. They made the mistake of giving us honey mustard last time when we asked for pure honey. I went and paid for my meal and it said on the receipt clearly that I was paying for two McRibs. Well I checked my bag before driving away and they had given me two honey mustards and no honey. I ask for the honey which they promptly gave. But then I drove him with my food and a very disappointed son when he discovered that they had given us two 20 piece chicken nuggets and no McRib. The only silver lining is that the two McRibs were slightly cheaper than the 20 piece chicken nugget. But this particular McDonald's has suffered from poor quality customer service. I'm surprised that they have been able to stay open...
