Store closed more than minutes early 12/18/20. Even earlier than the temporary hours posted. Employee had turned all the outside lights off. I pulled in parking lot and employee looked up and saw my car, dropped their mop, ran to the door and locked it, then ran to the back and hid there until they thought I left. I waited a few minutes then proceeded to leave. They must have thought I was already gone because they came back to mop, but as I drove past the front towards the parking lot exit, the employee ran to the back again peeking around the corner watching as I drive away. Jimmy John's closes at the same time and I had enough time to get from 84th & Harrison to 72nd & Cornhusker to get my food. I got there right before 9pm and Jimmy John's staff were friendly and took and filled my order with no complaints. Subway staff must not care about their job or making sales. Very poor example of customer service, but absolutely perfect example if laziness. If you want to go some place to NOT be able to order a sandwich, go here. I got the elite chicken bacon ranch, it comes with double cheese. This is my standard order. They had the cover up I shouldn’t see them making my sandwich so I peaked around the corner and thete was two pinches of cheese, I said sorry but it says there’s double cheese on the sandwich and he responded rudely with well that’s how much goes on it so I asked for more and I’ll just pay extra and he proceeded to do one more pinch. I asked for double toasted and he said nope I can’t do that. Never had that response either because I get it that way every-time. I get that it’s just a sandwich but you don’t need to be rude to me when I’m asking simple things, things I ask for every-time I’m there, which I’ve had multiple of the managers help me and they have done the things I’ve asked. Read moreI have a health condition and had to use the bathroom. While I was in there, I could hear a female staff member saying rude things about me taking more than 5 minutes. She said things I don't think I can put in a Google review. Upon immediately walking out of the bathroom, the same staff member shouted at me in a sarcastic tone, telling me they could help whenever I'm ready at the other end. Even though she wasn't the employee who was taking my order, she kept staring at me. This made me feel more than uncomfortable, resulting in me just walking out. As I was getting in my car, I realized she followed me out and was standing in the doorway, still staring at me. I will not be returning to this subway for a very long time, if at all. I know finding workers that will stay is hard right now, but employing people with a lack of customer service skills and downright creepy attitudes is not a good...
