Wild Chicken Grill Lavista — Restaurant in La Vista

Delicious food! The breakfast combos are reasonably priced and have a lot of food. Pancakes were even tasty as microwaved leftovers. The second time I visited I got a chicken sandwich. Also delicious, although the chicken patty was a tad smaller than the bun so my last 2 bites had no chicken. The sandwich combos are a bit overpriced for the serving size. They also don't include a drink and the drinks themselves (even the sodas) are way overpriced. It would be nice if not all of the side choices had an upcharge. Only steak fries come with the base meal. And the upcharge prices are ~$1.50-3.50. They also charge for sauces. I appreciate that this is a locally and family owned restaurant, so I don't want to be too harsh about the prices. But including a soda and slightly increasing the portion of the sides would probably be a cheap way to improve customer satisfaction. (Got take out both times, so no atmosphere rating. My daughter and I visited this place 5/23. I had the breakfast burger and she had the chicken skillet. The skillet’s potato hashbrowns were hard, not cooked long enough. Like eating a raw potato. My burger was great! I also had the buttery fries and those too were delicious. The spinach and artichoke dip was good, but for the price, the portion was small. We also got wings to go and it was $35 for 24 boneless wings. In my opinion, that is way over priced for some chicken nuggets with sauce. The margaritas weren’t very good either and I know they used a well tequila. Because I know they just opened, I will go back to try some other stuff. But my experience so far is I think they need to lower some of their prices. It would also be great if you had options to pick what kind of tequila you want in your marg. TBH, I was skeptical at first when we drove by the night before. We decided to try breakfast/brunch today. Let me tell you I was PLEASANTLY surprised. The customer service was 11/10, the food was perfectly cooked, and Jose was leading his staff with 20/10 service, a positive attitude, and welcoming every patron. Also, others have commented on the parking lot, which was freshly poured. Remember, it used to be long john Silver... and Jose and his team have been hard at work removing a decade worth of grease from the kitchen to the dining area.
