Great little shop! The mocha I ordered out of the front room is perfect; not too dark, not too sweet. Just flavorful. Haven't brewed up the Ethiopian coffee I picked up yet, but if the smell is any indicator, I'm in for a treat.

(Update 11/23: the Ethiopian blend is awesome. Very citrusy.)

This shop is connected to the owner's nonprofit; by supporting them here, you're actively helping out our community in Olympia & those without homes who are a part of it. Plus, the owner is just a super, super nice dude. I asked him about some niche origin beans I was looking for and he's going to be trying to track them down. Cool gesture, whether or not anything comes of it.

My only complaint (if you can call it that) is they're not open earlier so I can drop in in the wee hours of the morning and start my day...

White chocolate mochas here taste like lukewarm black drip coffee with milk and a pinch of sugar. It was definitely not an espresso of any kind! Ordered the 2 white chocolate mochas from this coffee stand at the capital lake fair and the whole experience and coffee was awful! The guy that made it was so rude! The coffee spilled all over the counter and the guys hand when he set it down. I thought maybe he was getting napkins because he turned around, but he just started cleaning up around the stand.
