Ok. Im impressed. I have been looking for something very specific in a Captains Bed. I thought I had exhausted all options short of ordering online. I called and spoke to Trisha. She told me they had several styles. Walking in, I was met by Trisha. She remembered our earlier conversation and showed me exactly what I was looking for!! I also bought the mattress to go with it. Delivery date set for Monday, and I'll be darned if they didnt show up exactly on time! One of the young men was Trisha's son. Very polite, courteous and friendly, as was his coworker. They worked very quickly! Everything was laid out just as Trisha said. In no time at all, my new bed was complete and ready!! Local products, local people, GREAT craftsmanship. I was treated respectfully and with a attitude of "How can I help you?" No high pressure. No "Oh, you really need this". Would I recommend this business? Absolutely! This is easily the best furniture store we've found in the greater Olympia area. The furniture is sturdy and seems to be made with the skill & care one would hope for. It's mainly real, solid, wooden furniture. The prices seem to reflect the quality of what you get pretty well. They don't have the world's most extensive selection of styles, but what they do have is nice.

We've been in several times and the salespeople have always been great. They're easy to find when you have a question, and very happy to talk things through with you as much as you like, but unlike many other local furniture stores, they're also happy to leave you alone and let you browse/discuss things amongst yourselves if that's what you prefer.

I've made two purchases from Woodshed: a couch, and a custom dining set. Both experiences have been awesome. It took a few months to get my dining set, and when I did, I was a bit disappointed with the top of the table. I was warned that the wood grain patterns would be different upon ordering, but the piece I received was too different than the floor model for my liking. I called the store and the associate was very patient and understanding. She came up with the best solution: swap the tops of the tables. That way, I could get the exact table top that I fell in love with. I absolutely love my new dining set now.
