Typically my experience is satisfying. Although the weekends have gone downhill. I ordered last night and saw that it would take over an hour for my order to be delivered, I understand people are short staffed. Normally, except for the weekend, in the past everything has been fine. Although, this is my second weekend order and it has been the same disappointing sad mess as it was the last time I ordered on the weekend. The pizza was hard and rubbery and very difficult to take a bite of or chew almost as if the dough had been a day or two old and just absolutely DRIPPING with grease from the pepperoni! I soaked up the grease with a paper towel before attempting to tear and gnarl my way into my very inedible cardboard cutout. The wings were cold and I received a bunch of tiny bread crumbs in the midst of 10 actual wings when I ordered a 16 piece. The cookie was gross, tasted burnt, and quite small for the price. After waiting over an hour, I would expect Pizza Hut standard to at least serve hot fresh food but it seems the weekends are too much of a challenge. I'm very disappointed and I spent almost $50. That's a ridiculous cost for such a sloppy mess of junk we were served. I tried calling to complain but was put on hold for ten minutes never to speak to anyone. Read moreI wish I could give zero stars, but I have also reached out on the pizza hut website. This evening I ordered pizza online for delivery and after getting the check status text I saw it would take qlmost an hour and a half to get my pizza. I understand, covid, everyone is short staffed so I asked to change to a carry out. I spoke to a nice man. He refunded the money and said it would be ready in 10 minutes. So I get to the store and pay for the pizza. While I'm in the store I get a call from. A 650 California number. I missed the call I was getting my pizza. I get in the car, my toddler is scream, I get another call from this number I answer and I hear laughing and people talki g in the back ground so I hung up, again , thinking oh this is probably a scammer. I then get very rude text messages from the number. It's a woman that works for pizza hut telling me to cancel my order. Her messages were very rude. I have worked customer service my whole career and would never treat a customer like this. To make matters even worse. I get home (1.3 miles away) the pizza is cold and it tastes awful. The bread sticks seem stale or old. The wings were good but nothing else. I should have just ordered...
Read moreIf I could give them a zero I would. First it took 2 hours to get my pizza. Second of all I the pizza I got was not even the one I ordered and it was cold and looked 3 hours old. The only bright spot was when we called the manager he was very nice and said he would refund us the money and give us a $15 credit. I ended up throwing the pizza away. Then at 11:30 at night someone else claiming to be from Pizza Hut calls me 3-4 times waking me up demanding I pay for the pizza. I tell them what happened and they are very very rude to me and I had to block the number. Not to mention that they were going to charge me $50 for 1 pizza!
Update: The manager Jeff is the nicest guy. He personally called to apologize the next day and offered us some store credit and said that it was all due to a communication mix up. He handled the situation very well! So we ordered again a few days later for pick up this time to use to store credit and the food was delicious.
