Where do I begin..... on one occasion I witnessed a WAITRESS walk out of the restroom WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS! I know for a fact she didn't because she was in the stall when I walked into the restroom, then when I was washing my hands she came out of the stall and she was checking herself out in the mirror, then she walked out! You would think that with another person standing there, and signs clearly posted stating "all employees must wash their hands before returning to work" right there next to the door she had to walk out of, that she would have at left made an effort! Nope.... vagina hands just walked out the door to serve her next customer some food. Our next visit (why we go back is beyond me) they didn't bring my husband's food out with all of ours. Guess they thought he wanted to watch us eat first, then we could watch him eat when we were done. Our waitress starts to clear our table & as she is clearing our table, every time she reaches for something, she sticks her armpit in my face AND I'M STILL TRYING TO FINISH WHAT WASN' EGG EVEN A GOOD GRILLED CHICKEN CAESAR SALAD IN THE FIRST PLACE! It took everything I had not to freak out In applebees in general. Not only did it take forever to get any kind of service, I could have waited on everyone in the whole restaurant, including ourselves, before our waitress came back with our drink order. They weren't busy, so there was no excuse for the service or miss vagina hands not being sanitary. Come on Applebees, I write great review's if you're worthy of them. Obviously someone needs to retrain the servers. Let me tell you, working in a dining room at an assisted living facility where you have to carry trays up on your shoulder, stacked 8 plates deep, with covers over those plates, serving them to residents who pay attention to nothing but serving etiquette, really teaches you a lot! Not only were they impatient (God love em) but they wanted to be properly served & in a timely fashion. Needless to say, I know what I'm talking about & I know how to do your job as a server & I could do it better.... I would at least train you to do it better! If your customer's are satisfied, you make more money have you not picked up on that yet? I know we tip VERY WELL if we are pleased with the service, simply because I've been there, done that. Pay attention to what you're doing when serving people & always treat them how you would want to be treated if the roles were reversed. Just saying...... If I had my way that day, we would NOT HAVE PAID FOR OUR MEAL! Food is too expensive to have an armpit shoved in your face while you're trying to eat or to have to wait to make sure everyone gets their food at...
Read moreSunday evening around 8pm, my friend and I visited this location. We were both seated quickly. We sat down and our waitress asked us what we wanted to drink. I simply said lemon water. She looked at me like I was dumb and said ‘you mean lemon with water?’ I said ‘yeah’ with a questioning tone due to the fact how she was rude. Shortly after she came back with our drinks. She asked us what we wanted and my friend and I ordered. After ordering our food, she poured water into my friends drink.(At the time, mine was still full.) We both waited for about 15-20 minutes for our food to be ready. Our waitress came up to us with our food and was confused as to which plate went to who. This was shocking due to the fact the restaurant wasn’t busy and also it was just my friend and I at my booth. She didn’t ask us if our food was okay. My friend didn’t get one of the main ingredients for her entree and I wasn’t asked if the steak I ordered was cooked to my preference. It took our waitress about 15 minutes to even acknowledge us. We were both watching our waitress and she was talking to other coworkers and even the manager. She came up and my friend told our waitress ‘one of the main ingredients isn’t in my entree.’ Yes, my friend told her in a certain tone because I was already finished with what I ordered by the time our waitress acknowledged there was an issue. The waitress said ‘I’ll tell our cook and don’t be snippy with me.’ I believe that it was inappropriate for our waitress to say ‘don’t be snippy with me’ due to the fact she never asked if our food was okay. Shortly, she came and brought the missing ingredient. Then, my drink was empty and didn’t acknowledge the fact I...
Read moreI've been here so many times and consistently have issues. Almost a month ago they made my steak rare, it was supposed to be well done. Then they burned it. The next visit the hostess was assisting the waiters in carrying out and passing out the food. But prior to this, I was in the restroom with the hostess she exited the stall and went straight out the door. She did not wash her hands then showed up at our table to pass out our food. We told our waiter they took our food back put in on new plates and came back with our food in 4 minutes. But it took them 45 minutes to make it the first time. Very unacceptable. The 3rd visit I told my waiter that if my 2nd drink was going to take a long time I would rather not get it. She told me and I quote "well I've already charged you" and basically made me wait an additional 10 minutes and then never came back to our table. The manager was our sever the rest of our visit. In return I still left the server a tip and the manager stated he was sour server because she was bust and he wanted to help her. But she was going to the table behind us and in front of us. I felt discrimination played a part and I'm very unhappy with Apple bees service all three of my...
