Horrible customer service. I went to pick up food for my family. I wanted a couple sandwiches and a couple tubs of chicken salad. I asked for a sandwich with the Fancy Nancy, they were out of Fancy Nancy. I asked for one with Olivia’s Old South, they were out of it. I asked her what they DID have and she said “I don’t know” then I heard her laughing and giggling with coworkers over the speaker and not even going to figure out what I could order. I asked if she had Fruity Fran and she said yes so I got some sandwiches of that. Then asked for a tub of Classic Carol and she said she can’t make tubs of that?? So I ordered a tub of Dixie Chick. I pulled up to the window and waited 5 minutiae while she mopped the floor for her to even address me and she said they are actually out of Dixie Chick and didn’t have enough to make Fancy Fran. I asked her again what chicken salads she had available and she again said “I don’t know” and then stared at me. I told her to cancel the whole order. I am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service I received during a recent visit to your Ambassador caffry Lafayette La drive-thru. On May 9,2025 @ 12:45 pm, I was assisted by an employee named Kelsey, whose demeanor throughout the interaction was unprofessional and unpleasant.
While placing my order, I asked a couple of simple questions—first, whether my trio came with a side, and then whether a cookie was included. Rather than providing helpful answers, Kelsey responded in a tone that was noticeably annoyed and impatient. Her responses were abrupt, and she made me feel as though I was a bother for seeking clarification about my meal.
I genuinely enjoy Chicken Salad Chick and appreciate the quality of your food, but this interaction left a negative impression and detracted from the overall experience. I hope this feedback will be taken seriously and used to improve customer service training, as every customer should feel welcome and valued.

Read moreI am not from Lafayette but love chicken salad. Being today is my birthday, my family and I made the drive to eat here. We were VERY disappointed to say the least. First of all, the young girl taking my order was extremely rude and had an attitude. Secondly, all 3 of the sandwiches on my order were wrong. We decided to call and let them know they were messed up. We would’ve went inside but the dining area is closed due to Covid-19. The manager or owner(they didn’t say) answered the phone. After telling her what was wrong she said, “I’m in a meeting in the back right now, I will talk to the workers when I go to the front.” Never once did she offer to fix our order or make things right.
